BEST FACIAL I have ever had! I purchased a Living Social for a one hour facial with Kelly. The minute I walked in to the Jessie Tomme Salon I felt very welcomed. I really loved that they also had a boutique to look around in while I waited. The atmosphere is really calming and friendly. Needless to say I am returning for my third facial with Kelly and I am so impressed with how amazing my skin looks. Kelly is so great, she is very knowledgeable about the products. The first time I saw Kelly I was experiencing a lot of problem areas, but after my first facial my skin looked amazing so I decided to transition to more of the Aveda product line. I could not be happier with the results. Kelly is also great at eyebrow waxing. I have never had this done before and I was so impressed how great my eyebrows look. And I have to say the wine at the end of the treatment is always welcome! I am looking forward to my next facial with Kelly and really recommend her!

Had a living social deal for an hour long facial which brought me to the salon for the first time. I must say the salon is very cute and trendy with an upstairs boutique that could use a little more advertising (would never have known it was there if I wasn’t told about it). Kelly did my facial and I must say she was FANTASTIC! I hate when I have facials where they always talk and pressure sales. She did neither. She was knowledgeable about the products when I requested information and gave me choices on my scents (loved that!) She even gave me a foot scrub that was a welcomed surprise and I must say she has a gift of massaging. I will definitely be back. I even received a glass of wine after my facial!

I purchased a Groupon deal for the salon, to have a facial done. I’m familiar with this salon, and have been to it before, it had been years though.
I arrived ten minutes early, only to wait for my facial to start ten minutes late. I tried to move past my irritation of the tardiness. I was surprised that I didn’t have to fill out a questionnaire about my skin, as you usually do before a facial.
The facial was going along swimmingly, until I was told that I needed a special extra treatment that would be an additional $ 20. I agreed to it, mostly because I wasn’t given the option.
The facial as enjoyable, aside from her massage techniques (WAY too rough) and the cold stone massage (it’s December in MN, who wants freezing cold stones on their face?)
As I went to checkout, I was given a big speach of offers and booking my next facial (understandable) but then she mentioned «And when you book your next facial today, you’re credited back the $ 20 you spent on your services today». What a scam! I understand companies often have troubles with people using Groupon deals, but you do NOT up-​charge for the service they paid for. That was completely unprofessional and not appreciated. Not to mention, my «special» $ 20 treatment was no different than any other exfoliation I’ve had during a facial.
You should think twice before supporting a business that has shady practices such as this.

I’d really like to do 3.5 Stars. I got a coupon for a free haircut & style, which meant that I only had to pay for the color service. I was about to start a new job, so it was time to freshen up for sure.
The place is cute with the upstairs shop and the comfy waiting area. I like the extras that came with the service (hand massage, paraffin wax available) and the haircut & color turned out fine.
Gripes: I don’t know if it’s just my girl, but there were little hairs on everything at her station. There was a book that I picked up to pass some time and someone else’s hair clippings got all over me. I saw her sweep the floor, but it seems like the furniture could use a wipe down too. Also, they do robes instead of capes, which is supposed to feel more spa-​like but it made me feel awkward. I’m weird like that but I didn’t know what to do with my hands (ala Ricky Bobby) and I couldn’t tuck them inside my robe. My hair clippings fell on them when she did the front.
I don’t think I’ll be back. Without the coupon it would have been very pricey and not worth it to me.
