Is it possible to give less than one star? I show up and it smells like cat urine… Probably from the cats they use in their«egg rolls.» I’m pretty sure the chicken on my plate hadn’t been killed yet and the rice had a nice crunchy layer on top. And how about their soup? Tasted like lukewarm salt water with some soggy noodles. I’d rather eat a dirty sock that’s been sitting in the sun for a week covered in bleu cheese and Lysol than to ever go there again.

I’m so sorry… some of the most unflavorfull, smallest servings, 4″ eggrolls, with more crust than vegetables, and absolutely NO meat! This is just down the street, and was truly hoping it would be good. WRONG!!! Why do people sacrifice Quality, and Quanity to dishonor the customer. Don’t they realize, that I would be back, if it was good? They are missing the chance to create a lasting customer. WOW, what a disappointment! I’ll just stick with China Delight, in Conroe.

There was a spider in the egg drop soup. My youngest son and I ordered some Chinese food to go yesterday. I could regale you with stories of the service, the ambiance, what we ordered, etc. But in case you missed the first sentence… THERE. WAS. A. SPIDER. IN. THE. EGG. DROP. SOUP.

I will never go to Double Dragon again. My last time there was with a friend and the woman told me how much to tip AFTER she told us we needed to leave when we were full because she needed the table for waiting customers. I was absolutely floored.

The only thing even remotely edible is the wonton and eggdrop soup. Everything else was disgusting! Recommend Fu’s Garden or Mei Wei. Never coming back. And the service… horrible, the guy seemed to be very awkward in social situations… Meaning to take an order… after an we ordered, he would just stand there staring at us awkwardly and watched us tlka and eat our food… literally 3′ from our table… Very uncomfortable!

We ate there tonight, Aug 11th and loved every bite. The food and the service was wonderful. We ate everything we ordered including a poopoo platter and an adult drink each with two entrees and with tip and tax it was still only $ 50. It’s right down the street from our hood — will go there more often.

The food used to be good and delivery was more than good. Delivery started going downhill when a little blonde was delivering. Our neighborhood is not hard to find or navigate. I gave them specific address and details as to what our house looked like for the driver to find it. An hour later and no food, I called and they said it was out for delivery. 20 more minutes and the driver calls me because she is lost. We live on the main drive that circles a very small«lake». She got lost driving in a circle. I had to stand at the edge of my driveway and she still drove past. That was one instance. The last time we ordered, after much complaining about the idiot driver I was assured it wouldn’t happen again. I ordered and added the crab puffs to my order. After my standard 45 minute wait, my food arrived hot and delicious but the crab puffs were missing. Normally I wouldn’t complain but I had paid for them and so a phone call was needed for either the adjustment on my card or the delivery of my crab puffs. A man answered this time and he refused to adjust my ticket but offered a coupon for next time. No. This was insulting to me. Basically he was saying it was ok for him to take my money now and I needed to be ok with it. After much arguing he finally sent out my crab puffs and that was it. Tonight was the last straw. I placed my order and waited my standard 45 minutes. Our order arrived warm. Not hot like usual but warm. We open our order up and it is not just warm but the worst bland flavor ever. To add to this disappointment, the«chow mein» that most everyone comes to expect from Chinese restaurants, is nothing but vegetables and bits of meat with NO noodles. No where is this explained on the menu. This no longer warrants a call since the track record shows they lack the ability to properly communicate with customer complaints. Beware when ordering or dealing with them.

If I could rate this place with less than one star, I would. The food is bland and the customer service is sorely lacking. I placed an order for delivery at 8PM and was told it would be delivered in about an hour. Ok, the place is only 5 – 10 minutes away, but no problem. At 9:10PM, I called to check the status of my order as it had not yet been delivered. The woman who answered stated the driver had just left and was on his way. Alright, I thought, that’s no problem as long as the food is worth the wait. At 9:30PM, I called again because my order had still not been delivered. This time the woman told me she had just gotten off the phone with the driver and I was 2nd on the list of a 2 part delivery. Apparently the 1st delivery was further away and the driver was on his way. She then provided me with the driver’s number so I could call and ask him the status. Ok, so I gave him a call. Of course he didn’t answer, he was driving and it was a number unknown to him because they never took down my phone number for the order. Finally, at 9:48PM I got a call from the driver who was at the gate of my complex. I provided him access and moments later, the food was delivered. It seemed the woman who verified the spelling of my address 3 times still managed to spell it wrong on the ticket and the driver was sent across town. Fine, at least the food was here. It was an hour late, but it was here and amazingly, it was still warm… strange. The Food: I ordered Beef w/Broccoli, Vegetable Chow Mein and Chicken Fried Rice. I got 4 free egg rolls w/coupon because my order was over $ 20. — Beef w/Broccoli — Not bad, usually a dish over which restaurants/cooks douse with too much oyster sauce, but this one was pretty good. — Vegetable Chow Mein — Be warned, this is not the type of Chow Mein at least 90% of Americans would expect. This is Hong Kong style Chow Mein and is that not specified in the menu. Instead of soft, thick, spaghetti-like noodles with stir-fried vegetables mixed in, I got a bowl of unseasoned, sautéed vegetables and a bag of overly greasy, fried, flat, crispy noodles to sprinkle over the vegetables. — Chicken Fried Rice — No seasoning whatsoever. Just bland, but hey, they gave us a WHOLEBUNCH of this stuff. Yay, a whole bunch of flavorless chicken fried rice. If I’m unable to add some sort of seasoning and salvage it myself, my garbage can should enjoy it. — Egg Rolls — There’s a reason they give these away for free. They’re terrible. I’m already upset I’ve paid for the Vegetable Chow Mein and the Chicken Fried Rice. If I’d paid for these little greasy logs of vegetables and cat food as well, I would have been furious. This was my first ANDLAST time ordering from Double Dragon II in Magnolia, TX. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Well… The food is pretty good and we have ordered delivery several times. We will no longer order from them due to my husband’s shrimp with lobster sauce having gnats in it for the second time. We thought the first offense was possible as it was open on the counter for a few minutes… This however, was not the case. The sealed container that it came in was opened and there were the gnats… again. All the food is in the trash now. I don’t want to know how the kitchen there looks. .

Good quality Chinese food, for the area. Expertly prepared, with fresh ingredients. Be sure and ask for no celery, because they use it in huge amounts. One of my pet peeves with any Chinese restaurant is the prodigious use of celery and carrots, because they are low cost. If you ask them to omit the celery, they will substitute with broccoli or snow peas, no problem. My favorite is the chicken with garlic sauce, but you can’t go wrong with most items on the menu. My kids love sweet and sour chicken, but here it is just deep fried chicken strips served with sauce on the side. Avoid this one. It is way too quiet in my opinion, especially if the tables are empty, wihch is usually the case. They need to raise the music volume up a tad. There is one very nice lady(she knows me by name now) that can be overbearing and interrupts you frequently during the meal. She is really nice, but doesn’t seem to get«boundaries» when you are trying to dine. Takeout is the way to go at this place. Call ahead, and usually your order is ready in less than 15 minutes. Good food, good price, lousy dining atmosphere.

This place is awesome! We’ve never had any disappointing meals here. The portions are huge and the foods are perfectly cooked and flavorful. The meats are always tender. The staff are very friendly. And owner stops by each table to say hello and have a conversation with her patrons(very uncommon in an Asian restaurant). Last but not the least, the price is very reasonable.

We ordered one night and only took like two bites. The chicken was huge and you could see veins and stuff when I took a bite. I was 100% unhappy.

We drove past this place for years and finally decided to try it. Have probably been there about 10x. The spring rolls are great, as are the soups. Great drink specials and the dining area is usually pretty quiet — seems most of their orders are pick up or delivery. Good quality food and friendly staff — great orange sauce and the fried and non– fried foods are all enjoyable. Good food, close to home… reasonable prices too.

Walking in, there’s a very cozy and oriental feel… most of the visit goes down hill from there. Don’t expect any privacy or general chat with the people you’re visiting with, the owner will make sure that doesn’t happen. From giving parental advice to telling you why you’re wrong, she kills the time with her overbearing personality! The menu is filled with items that have inadequate descriptions or none at all! Don’t ask about them however, that induces a whole new headache. Everything fried, tastes the same whether it be beef, chicken, or shrimp. Not too bad, just no variety. Hey at least our drinks were constantly filled!
