We checked out the Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon buffets a few weeks ago. Checked out the Sunday buffet first and it was fair country cooking, but everything was either out, highly picked over, or not warm since we came after church toward the end of the buffet hours and I guess the wait staff had gone home. I give Sunday buffet experience 2 stars. The next visit was for the Friday night Italian buffet. It had a LOT to be desired… basically it was awful. The food was terrible and service was just as bad. This buffet experience gets a 1 star. The 3rd visit was the best for the Mexican buffet. We learned after the two prior visits to come earlier and sit in the booths by the bar area where the staff hangs out… and we got better food and service… not great, but better. The food was not authenic Mexican, nothing hot/spicy, no Jalepenos, etc, but what they had was good, just bland/not spicy. The Mexican buffet food and service gets 3 stars. Overall, I give it 2 stars and believe the buffets are overpriced $ 2 for what is offered… and out or not offered. If it was top notch food and service then it would be worth $ 10. If we return, it will likely be for the Mexican buffet. I hope the Decade ownership/staff read these reviews and take corrective actions before it is too late. Would hate to lose this start up independent restaurant and hope it gets better so it can stay for a long life in Magnolia.

Great great Fried chicken from a Buffett. Had a Sunday Brunch with Tonya a friend of ours. She highly recommended this place too eat on Sunday. I’m so stuffed. The potatoes casserole with the chicken was sensational this is one of the most descent buffets we’ve been to. Everything was so fresh. Definitely recommended this place. Will be back when we visit Tonya Druen.

Wonderful food and atmosphere! They have great service and you always feel at home in this down home retro restaurant. I haven’t eaten there in awhile since I’ve moved, so I’m not sure if they still offer this, but the buffet on weekends is amazing; filled with home cooking. I miss going out to eat here.

The burgers are great here. Wonderful atmosphere and great service. Magnolia doesn’t have much in the way of places to dine but the one option they have is a good option.

7÷3÷12: great food for good prices! Angus hamburgers at 8 oz each. I actually got the 4 oz burger off kids menu and it was just as yummy. Unique appetizer — pig wings. Bonus: it is a Pepsi place! If you go, my dad, uncles, and aunt are featured in pictures from their high school days :)
