Very nicely remodeled. The owner is a hoot! the food is really tasty. Great place for family and friends.

I will confirm, I should not of ate the steak. I was throwing up within the hour. Even if it was a new cook, they should have known better and never served something that old & bad. I will definitely trust my nose and instinct next time!

Everything here was above average. Given this is pub food in rural Oregon, I’m going 5 stars. In a bigger town, four stars. But anyways, enough of that. The décor is clean, uncluttered and surprisingly modern for a pub located in rural eastern Oregon.
Cool floor plan with three levels: lower level has TVs, shuffleboard, etc– game zone; main level has the bar, tables, TVs, booths – three bar zone; upper level has tables, windows and no TVs – the dining area.
Portions weren’t huge, but completely reasonable for the price. Full bar and ~8 beers on tap. Service was great.
We got a blt and a french dip. Both cost around $ 12 each, so not cheap but not ridiculous either. Lettuce was fresh. Meat seemed fresh and felt tender. The au jus was nothing to write home about, but this is pub foods right?
Passing through on a road trip, practically everything else in town was without power due to a storm outage. So, we ended up at a pub (not or usual first choice). Next time we will probably check out something different, but just for the sake of «adventure», not because anything was bad. We would totally come back.

As with the other two reviews, the food is good. The restaurant also provides «fresh» seafood from the Portland area I believe (…what one of the servers had told my wife and me). It’s the owners that have prompted me to only rate the same establishment with two stars.
Cooks and servers have last mere weeks. I personally witnessed such a lunch rush where the owner is sitting on his butt, there is only one server and folks half to leave without even receiving drinks and return to work. We’ve also witnessed the owner killing flys with a squirt gun around tables as he sits on his butt. Yes he’s the owner, but he promotes an atmosphere that is pretty nauseous. My wife and I wanted Jeff to succeed, but he’ll have to do it without us as patrons.

Stopped on our way to bend. Roast beef open face sandwich was excellent not to mention 24 beers on tap and Sarah was a fantastic server

Nice selection of beer, great food, friendly atmosphere. They recently moved and expanded the menu. Been a couple times and I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m in the neighborhood. Great find in BFE Oregon!
