Had an appointment for remote starter installation. Was treated pretty curtly and bordering on RUDELY by two young men — -observed their interactions with next two customers and it wasn’t personal. They need a course in CUSTOMERSERVICE. My husband spoke with Hal and I knew he had explained that I would have to wait on it. I was told, almost interrupted to Be told, that one of them took the order and was never told I would be waiting. Because he didn’t write it down… you NEVERIMPLY that the customer is lying. I asked for a quick lift, since there were two of them, and I was the first customer, only 4 – 5 blocks away. I was told no, it would make it to hard on the one left because he would be alone… I get that, but, still… it was the way they said it. Like, how could I, the customer interfere with them and trouble them… all for a $ 328 job. The third customer in the door was told at 9:40 that they would be gotten to at 1. The second customer was told, at 9:15, that he would be gotten to at noon. By the way, it only took them 45 minutes, not 2 hours, so that was a plus. I wondered if it was a two hour job, and I was first, why the man was told it would be after noon. But, in the meantime, the third customer, when she complained because they had told her to come in at 9, was told that they tell all their customers to come in at 9am and that it is first come first serve. But what about those of us, who when asked for a time, explained we would have to wait, and then they get there and have you wait for hours!!! Not honest, efficient, or good customer service… especially when they then tell the customer that that is how they do business… I asked to have it explained to me, and he shoved a 2 paragraph piece of paper across the counter and told me to read that. No time on explaining how to use my $ 320 purchase. Just read the paper… and mind you, no professional printed info, just a copied two paragraph sheet. I could come home and print my info, I am sure, but I paid them over three hundred dollars and get told, very curtly, read the paper. When, my remote starter quit working at 5, I called and they very nicely told me to come back in. Then, and only then, did they tell me not to use my remote keychain to open and lock the doors. I could only use theirs, which is fine, but since they put the new one on my key chain with mine, it would have saved me a trip back up there if they had explained that then… or, maybe given Me info to go with it, because it sure wasn’t on the two paragraph paper. Altogether, they get two stars… they did get it installed under the time. But, customer service and professional service cost them the other stars. Have them do your work… but plan on bringing two vehicles and dropping yours off and ask them, if they give you a time, will they do the work then, or after lunch. Just don’t count on being treated like you are paying them for their time or service! I resented being treated like I was taking advantage of them!!!
