Today I went in and got a flu shot administered by Sarah. She was very proficient, cordial and administered the most pain free shot I’ve ever received. Thank you for having her on your team. I can’t wait to sneeze just to see her again.

the wait inside even after your meds are ready is ridiculous. always one cashier with 10 people waiting and going through the drive through isn’t much better. usually 2 cars ahead every time and drive through is slower than a normal walgreens. also have had problems with them not filling internet med refills or even having them on time(one was told to us an hour and it wasn’t till 12 hours later. needless to say we didn’t wait on them after 2 hours and went home) they do have REALLYNICE employees in every check out or section but doesn’t make up for the fact they never have sale items in stock so its pointless if you want something from the flyer to go there. needs security since out of the Nashville stores it has the robbery problem hence the no hoods etc rule. I’ve never felt in danger though

I rarely go inside but when I do everybody is nice and professional. The drive thru can get a little backed up at times. I found if you go at odd hours you can get thru quickly. If you have any questions about any medications they even answer you in the drive thru. Awesome!

Toothpaste & Laundry Detergent My list was short. You would think that a quick trip to Walgreen’s would be easy breezy. Not so much. I should preface that I am not one of those Peyote smokin, non-bathin, Woodstocky hippie types but all of the products that I buy must be good for the environment and cruelty free(doesn’t test on animals). Just call me a Yippee(yuppie + hippie) but I am not the only person who shops like this and most retailers have jumped on the bandwagon and bought into one of the fastest growing markets right now. I thought that I would be able to walk in and buy toothpaste made by Burt’s Bees, Tom’s of Maine, Kiss My Face, or maybe even find another earth lovin’ brand. DENIED. I didn’t want to make the whole trip a waste so I took a stroll down the laundry detergent aisle. Method? Mrs. Meyers? Greenworks? Borax? I could go on and on. NADA. I asked the very helpful employee(who was the only saving grace of this store) if she knew if they carried these items and she thought that they did but after calling a manager, we realized that this location didn’t. I can understand that large companies have to merchandise differently in different regions and demographics but is Walgreens going to tell me that my zip-code doesn’t give a damn about preserving the earth and its creatures? Interestingly enough, I drove a block over and the Kroger supermarket must have gotten on the«Clue Train» because they had a healthy inventory for both of these products and at great prices! Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
