(1) The 2nd-year doctor and her resident apprentices began by withholding a medication that, if stopped all at once, may lead to seizures. It took a day and a half to get my meds back and I had two seizures in that time.(2) I had a simple UTI(and I’m prone to them as past records would indicate) and my fever was almost normal after 24 hours. Yet they cultured for days to look for an exotic source and meanwhile pumped my full of 4 antibiotics instead of the simple(and cheap) Cipro that I usually react promptly to.(3) In the time I was there I never saw anyone do more in the way of cleaning my room than empty a wastebasket. Dirty towels on the floor stayed there.(3) After the nurses told me the doctors were keeping my «at least several more days», on the fourth day I walked out. They followed waving a paper for me to sign stating they were not responsible, which I ignored. They then followed up with a simple prescription for Cipro.(4) The only time I did see the doctor(and her two lackeys) was for morning rounds, and they told me nothing about my condition at any time. I had to glean what information I could from the nursing staff. I would NEVER go there again for any reason though I live 15 minutes away.
