Seventh Heaven Massage Studio

I decided to give this massage studio a chance. They had a great deal for first time clients. Barbara took over the business this year and has been trying to turn the business around. She was the one who did the massage for me.
She was on point with realizing my trapezius muscles were really tight like others in the past have told me and also gave me some suggestions on how to help this issue. I had a relaxing massage. The ambiance once you enter the studio is awesome, the outside just looks ok. I would totally come back.
The only thing I might suggest is better signage. I was a little unsure if I was in the right place because there was a massage studio listed but not the words seventh heaven until you reach the door which made me a little confuse.
Everyone should give the new client special a try!

I had a massage with Heather and it the best massage I have had in a long time. I would definitely go back there and in fact, I am going back there today!

I scheduled my massage last minute and I was accommodated. I am pregnant and the masseuse took great care. The massage was wonderful and I have a lot of experience with monthly massages through my health care. I highly enjoyed my experience.

I was given a 1 hour massage as a gift. My instinct was that I wish I had an actual recommendation for this place, but I did not want to appear ungrateful to the gift giver. My instinct was right — I should not have gone. It hurt the entire time and I may even have permanent damage. Since when do massages involve spinal twisting and cracking? I tried to tell them to be more gentle, but they said it was the fault of my tension and continued at same pressure. Yikes!

WORST MASSAGE STUDIO EVER! I booked a massage for my fiancé and myself two weeks ago, and we had an emergency come up the day of, so we called and cancelled. No one answered so we left a message. Today, I look at my credit card statement and I had been charged $ 70.00 by the studio. I called, and the owner said that because we cancelled the same day, we were charged the cost of one full massage. I argued, saying that we had called and cancelled due to an emergency, and he stated that it was listed in their «policy», which I was unable to find proof of. Not only are we forced to now pay $ 70.00 worth of services that we never received, but we are also poor and soon to be newly-​weds. The only reason we were even getting massages and spending money was to celebrate my fiancé’s new job. What was once our favorite massage parlor is now a place we will NEVER set foot in again, nor will be EVER recommend it to ANYONE. In fact, I plan to go OUT OF MY WAY to let EVERYONE know what a PIECE OF CRAP this place is. Not refunding money due to a cancellation? Also, since we called and had to leave a cancellation in a message, it would have been nice to get a call back… not sure why they weren’t decent enough to call us back and let us know that by rescheduling the appointment we were still going to be charged… NOT A GOOD BUSINESS AT ALL!

Jurij did exactly what I needed! I went in as a new customer looking for a professional, targeted massage. Weeks prior I suffered severe back spasms, affecting my posture and causing lower back pain. Jurij took the time to understand the issue (even mimicking my alignment to better understand what to target), and the entire session was spent working on undoing what the spasms had done. Though I left a bit sore, I could immediately tell a difference, and the following two days were dramatically better than any in the previous two weeks.
Know that Jurij has his own unique approach. Expect to just go with the flow, but also know that he welcomes input and suggestions and is very conscious of how you feel throughout the session.
I did not experience the issues that a previous reviewer encountered, but I’m sure I had different expectations. I don’t expect a deep tissue massage to be comfortable, but that said this was still one of the best targeted massages I’ve had.

Jurij is an incredibly talented massage therapist. He does his best work with sports massage, deep tissue work, and myofascial release. If you want a massage simply to relax, he’s probably not your guy. I came in with some long term muscle pain and tendinitis, and his work has really helped me in healing this. His rates are very reasonable and he works with Unity’s wellness program.

Good experience on my end… was a little freaked out by the previous reviews, but Jurij really seems to know what he’s doing and isn’t too gabby during the massage (which is important to me). I plan to go back when I’ve got the extra cash lying around.

Do not purchase any deals with them. The owner is overwhelmed and unable to accommodate already purchased deals. I have been trying to redeem my living social deal and finally got through tonight. He told me he could possibly book something in December and apply the amount toward the massage, but he is not taking on new clients and will not be public soon. he just wants to «get through this» My voucher doesn’t expire for a few more weeks. Yet, I see he is offering more «deals.» Don’t buy!!!

I had a deep tissue massage at Seventh Heaven last week and the only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because Jurij at least seemed pretty dedicated to his work. Everything else deserved one star. The receptionist was awfully rude and the waiting room smelled old. The massage table felt really unsturdy and the massage itself was pretty uncomfortable — I don’t think I felt relaxed at any point. The worst part was the obnoxious doorbell that beeped about 10 times throughout the massage. The walls were paper thin and I could hear everything going on outside the door. It’s hard to relax when the surroundings are so unpleasant. I’m not a massage connoisseur by any means, but I recommend going elsewhere.

Jury is a great guy. Give him a chance to work on you.
It’s really relaxing and you walk out of there peaceful and full of joy and it feels absolutely fantastic! Definitely worth a try if you like massages or need to release shoulder tension, which I have a lot of! Place is small but cozy
