Midwest Clay Project

This is a fantastic place! I have belonged to MCP for over a year and have had nothing but wonderful experiences here. I have taken two classes (Wheel Throwing and Hand Building) and they both have been very well taught and worth every penny. Studio members have been friendly and super helpful. There are several levels of membership depending on how often a person cares to use the studio/​how much time you have. The studio manager is very professional and also really cares that the members have a positive experience. As a monthly member I have a shelf to keep my supplies on (as do many others) and I’ve never had any problems with the honor system. My clay and tools are always where I’ve left them when I return. Everyone is so supportive here! It’s my home away from home.

This is such a great cozy place full of pretty accessible art. During Madison’s Gallery Night I noticed several pretty pieces at great prices I was interested in. I love the look and feel of this place, creative and collaborative.
