Massage Envy Spa

I tried Massage Envy as a birthday gift. I wasn’t too excited to try a chain spa, but I actually had a pretty good experience. When I entered I was greeted. It’s recommended you arrive at least ten minutes early. They had my paperwork ready. After I filled out the form, a lady spoke with me about concerns and preferences. I thought it was a little awkward to do that in the lobby. Maybe I’m just shy but talking about my injuries and what parts I want touched isn’t really a public conversation– even if the people out front are staff. I then went back to be greeted by my massage therapist Ferlandis. She was very nice and chatted with me about my preferences. I enjoyed it very much. After the massage she told me which are she felt the most tension and made some recommendations. She also brought me water after I dressed. When I exited I was offered membership. It actually seems like a good deal and I would consider it. Note that this place is strictly massage and facials. So if you’re into a more complete spa experience, you should consider other places. I did use the bathroom while I was there too. There are some toiletries and grooming products there which is a nice touch. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return. It’s a great option for those who want regular massages. I left out feeling great.
