I find that most of the products here are pretty solid, so three stars for that. My biggest problem with GNC are the pushy sales guys. They take upselling to a whole new level of annoying. The minute I step foot inside these stores they are all over me, and I am completely covered in their douche baggery.
These dudes seem almost crazed.
«WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?» Horny Goat Weed.
«CAN I ASK WHY YOU WANT TO BUY THAT?» Because I can’t get it up.
«WHAT KIND OF MULTIVITAMIN DO YOU TAKE?» Draino.
The trick is to go in there knowing what you want, locate it promptly, deflect all questions, and get the hell out. Because, if you don’t, they will eat you alive.
They’ll want to show you all their other products, and talk about how other places like Walgreens vitamins are inferior, and when you get to the register they want all your info, and they want you to sign up for their gold card, and try these samples, and look you can buy this for half price today only, and can I have your email address, oh, I already have it? Well give it to me again anyway, CAN I DEVOUR YOUR SOUL!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAA!!! *gurgle*gurgle*
