We ordered a cake from Capitol Bakery for our wedding in July of this year. They were great to work with, decorated the cake like we had asked, arrived on time with the cake, and it tasted delicious (we got the lemon pound cake with some cream cheese frosting and lemon zest). Our guests loved the cake and said it had that delicious, fresh, homemade taste. Also, our event was outdoors and the fondant held up well (it wasn’t an extremely hot day though). We were very pleased with the cake and would definitely recommend Capitol Bakery for wedding cakes.
