Love this restaurant! The chicken shwarma platter is my favorite. Get the bulger, it’s better than rice, and the salad as a side is excellent. For dessert, get the baklava, they generously give you 4 pieces. Oh, and for an appetizer, the lentil soup is the best!!!

This is one of our favorite places in Madison. Yes, its small and cozy but the food is just amazing. We’ve tried the red pepper, jalapeño/cilantro, and original hummus flavors. The original is our favorite. The drizzle of olive oil and warm, charred pita triangles are super yummy. This place has the BEST falafal I have ever had. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The moussaka is a must try as well. For the entrees: The mixed shwarma, lamb chops, and shish kabobs are all great. I recently had the braised lamb shank special which were pretty good. The fries are yummy and the bulgar was a pleasant surprise as side dishes. All in all a great little byob spot in Madison. Go eat there!

Went in with my boyfriend for dinner and had one of the new specials, stuffed cabbage. Not only did it look good but It was delicious! The waiter was great and helped us with all our in decisions. One of our favorite spots when we go out or even stay in for delivery.

Pretty decent place. Great for lunch. Small dining room but we had no issue on a Sunday. I had the beef and lamb kofta. The spices were good, but I have had better lamb recently. I’ve become a lamb snob apparently. They had a great hot sauce on the tables that I also recommend. Had with a side of veggies and rice. Overall pretty good. Service was fast and attentive. Overall a decent place for a bite.

The food is good, I’ve had the shawarma platter a couple times with no complaints. The customer service is really lacking, though. I’ve called once and been told that it’s a $ 25 minimum to Florham Park even though the website says $ 15, and most recently placed a delivery order online and was called notifying me that they were not delivering that day. Not really another great delivery option for this type of food in the area, so I’ll have to deal with this.

Excellent. Uniquely good regional food, and great family running it. Tight space, but charming, and a just-right music in the background! Highly recommend for dine-in or take out. Moussaka and falafel are particular stand outs

You cant go wrong with the kabob. Very juicy and very moist. A tip: get the bottled water, you’ll thank me.

Ok only sad I didn’t try this place earlier. Great lunch deal: for $ 11.99 you order an entrée from a lunch menu with 2 sides and a drink. And the portions are filling! Very delicious. I had the chicken shwarma, cous cous and salad. I loved every bite of it. The chicken was moist and flavorful and came with this great white sauce. The cous cous was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. PLUS they have this really tasty hot sauce that I’m assuming is homemade. Super small space — tight fit for the 11 of us who went but we made it work! I’m looking forward to trying more on the menu.

Great chicken shawarma, musakka and rice w/fries. It was start of Ramadan then and the owner’s daughter was kind enough to give us a bite of the kenafah(which is my absolute favorite) that she’d made. Summed up our Friday night !

Food was very good. The tight quarters are much to be desired but we managed ok. The service was below par but not awful. Would definetly go back.

We stopped by for a quick appetizer this afternoon. Got the spanikopita and the hummus. Sadly we were 0 for 2. The spanikopita was soggy greasy. The hummus had an overwhelming raw garlic taste that lingered for an hour. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Unusually, I’m going to start with our waitress who was charming accommodating and an asset to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is small but nicely appointed. I went for lunch on a Saturday. We had the cigare appetizers, which were good. I had lamb-beef gyro(schwarma). My wife had falafel. The falafel was quite good. My sandwich was also pretty good. Two flaws: 1) the tahini dressing tasted like it had mayonnaise in it. No disaster by a long shot but not what you want 2) the baklava was burnt on the bottom. I enjoyed coming here and would go back. The aforementioned flaws were minor and the place is cheap !

Came here last Thursday and back here less than a week later! Our table ordered lamb shank(special), lamb chops, shawarma, kofta kebab, tilapia, salads, liver and so much more… I love this place and not only for the food but Theresa(waitress) is the best! Don’t ever get rid of her… I can’t believe how fast they get the food on your table considering the small size and amount of customers packing up the restaurant! I have been to many different Greek/Mediterranean restaurants around the area and this place by far is the best! They need to make the lamb shank as part of the daily menu because it is fall off the bone PERFECT! Don’t miss out coming here… I’ve turned into a regular!

BYOB! K now that we got that out of the way… This place is small and always packed. The service is good, place is cute, and clean. Onto the food. I had the lentil soup which was a little too watery for my like, but the taste is right on point. The Felafel was a little bland so I threw it in my lentil soup to add some texture and made the best of it. What I truly enjoyed is what my husband picked, the shawarma(gyro); he always picks the better dish. If you come here I totally say get it because it’s so flavorful and filling. I also recommend u get the moussaka it’s like eggplant and cheese ecstasy. I love eggplant and this place makes it really well, it taste like a light lasagna. it’s pretty cool to have a place like this in Madison, I love Mediterranean food. We for sure will be back soon.

Solid Middle Eastern cuisine. This BYOB is kind of small and tight, but cozy. The waitress was nice and attentive, despite having to wait on a lot of tables at the same time. On to the food! Appetizers 1. Felafel — I’ll admit I’m not really a felafel expert, but I’ve had better and I’ve had worse, so this one was probably about average. It was crispy on the outside and had some spiciness to the inside, which was interesting. The sauce helped with the dryness. 2. Lentil Soup — My wife enjoyed it and I thought it was pretty good. Again had a little bit of spiciness. 3. Moussaka — This was really good and my wife liked it, too. According to their menu, it is «layers of ground beef, potatoes, sliced eggplant topped with a creamy cheese béchamel sauce baked to a golden perfection». Entrees: 1. Chicken Shawarma(gyro) — This was really tasty. I suppose it could have used some more chicken, but it was satisfying. My wife liked it, too. 2. Mediterranean wrap — My wife thought it was OK, but not as tasty as the shawarma gyro. Prices were decent, so it’s a good local spot for Madison. I’ll be back for sure next time I’m in the mood. They also deliver, $ 15 minimum.

Been to this nice Madison spot twice. The service is friendly, the food comes out promptly and what comes out is delicious. Beef and lamb schawarma for me. Epic fries my first visit. They were changed to adequate shoestrings the second. We asked them to change back to the original. And they did! On both occasions, I got to go orders for my wife, a seasoned foodie and she loved every bite of what I brought home. So go to this great neighborhood spot. Highly recommended.
