Bennie’s Seafood

A nice little seafood market — a broad selection at very low prices.
Be sure to look for the Bennie’s coupon in the News-​Advance TV section and bring the coupon with you for the sale prices.
The shrimp come in many different sizes and the salmon looked very good. I got some fresh cod at $ 3.99 a pound. One of the other customers raved about their crab legs, which they sell in 3-​lb. increments.
The place is clean and doesn’t smell like fish– the sign of a good seafood market.
There is no on-​site eating but there is a nifty little ice cream place next door.
There is little signage so look for the ice cream place.
If you go on Friday– go early as they may sell out. Call for their hours.
Note well that they do not accept «cards» — credit or ATM. They do accept cash or checks.
