Great service with very friendly staff. Our waiter tipped us to the authentic El Salvadoran dishes and they were very authentic and tasty. we all had homemade pupusas stuffed with cheese, beans, lorocco(a type of herb) pork… They have plantains as an appetizer but they were able to make a side portion without problem. very authentic salsas, hot sauce, and cabbage salad. Service was a little on slow side but since the food is made as it is ordered and because it was so tasty we did not mind so much. A pleasant surprise in downtown madera.

First impression is the spacious dining area! I couldn’t decide what to get but I knew the Pupusas were a must! I ordered them Reveulta and I was NOT disappointed!!! I also ordered Tikal which is a breakfast dish and it was also delish!!! The cherry on top is the homemade corn tortillas!!! OMG I’d like to order a dozen to go! I’m so glad they are now open on Sunday or wouldn’t have had this thoroughly fulfilling dining experience! Herman was a great server and took tome to make recommendations and was very attentive!

Great place to eat in Madera. There are few good places to grab lunch in downtown Madera and this place definitely stands out. Clean restaurant with very friendly staff. Food is great and they provide some great variety to choose from. My favorite is the fish tacos. They are delicious and not fried. I highly recommend Maya Grill.

very clean atmosphere. The service is excellent as is the quality of the food. Prices are very reasonable. I got the tritip fajitas and my mom gets the papusas. We were very satisfied and I will be bringing my friends back for another visit. !

Delicious! The waiters are always very friendly and the place is not crowded. I usually get the pupusas, though I have tried other things on the menu as well. The food is inexpensive and there is never much of a wait to receive your meal!

I really liked the chips and salsa. I ordered the burrito and it wasn’t very good. It had some kind of creamy white sauce, and what is that spice they use? YUCK! I’ve tasted better food after a large lunch and a fast rollercoaster ride if you know what I mean. With my order I did get an ice cream scoop of rice and about a tablespoon of beans, those were good. Will I eat there again? Probably not!

All you white people obviously don’t know what real pupusas are and the people at Mayan Grill don’t know what real customer service is. ONEHOURLATER they brought the pupusas to our table that weren’t even tasty. If you want pupusas, then I recommend you go to the remate. Five minutes into eating my food, they brought the check. SERIOUSLY?! Can I at least enjoy the meal!

Wow! Last night I had the Acapulco shrimp burrito, and it was amazing. They grill their burritos so the tortilla is a little crispy, filled with shrimp, bell peppers, onions, and a delightful cream sauce. The rice and beans on the side were also awesome. Don’t get take out if you’re in a hurry.

Zzzzzzz… I ate here for lunch one day after getting stuck in Madera for jury duty. I tried it out because it was close to the court house. This has to be the most«white bread«Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food wasn’t bad just extremely bland and boring. I tried the chicken burrito with rice and beans on the side. The chicken seemed like it had been boiled and had no flavor at all… not even chicken flavor. The rice was more like a Chinese fried-rice with carrots and peas but, again, with no spice at all. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was very clean. The restrooms were spotless, as well. So, in conclusion, the food was meh… nothing exciting…
