Two stars only because bartender was good. Ordered Margherita Pizza well done. Not a fan. No flavor too much crust and huge tomato pieces. Not crunchy like I asked for.

I decided to give this place another try after years of avoiding it aaaannddd… new name, same undercooked flavorless pizza. I’ll continue taking my business to Salvatore’s. When I picked up my pie I noticed the cashier sell a six pack without checking ID to a patron who looked underage. The LCB would have a field day with this place. Even with a spiffy new name, nothing has changed.

Seafood Lasagna was out of this world. This is a cozy, moderately priced Italian themed restaurant where we received prompt friendly service and excellent food. Yes, only the name has changed. Still owned by Franco.

This is the very same location of the former Armetta’s(and still owned by the same family). They just changed the name(this location only) and some of the menu items. They have take out and table service. The service and the Italian food are quite good. They have a bar and a few TVs. My favorite is their Baked Ziti.

We use Pizzeta’s regularly for our school events. They are accommodating and efficient from ordering to delivery. Plus, the pizza is delicious!

I’m not sure what has changed, other than the name, and a reduction of menu items. They took my favorite pizza, the Tuscan, off their specialty pizza menu, which makes me sad. The prices seem to have gone down a little, which has increased the frequency of our visits. And the quality has gone up. It’s so confusing, because the same people seem to be working there. I’m not sure why it’s better now. Most of the time, Pizzetta’s has a special for 2 large plain pizzas for $ 19.99. It’s perfect when you have a house full of tweens who are starving and picky eaters. They are ready really fast, too. Their strombolis and calzones are delicious, and are as pretty to look at as they are tasty. Their white pies are good, but can be chintzy on the ricotta at times. Not every time, though! They use an abundance of toppings, and everything is quality and fresh, except the onions. It seems that they use frozen diced onions, or if they don’t, they seem that way, and they are not great. But my onion eaters don’t care. I pick them off. I can’t comment on their table service, because we gave up on that a few years ago, after too many frustrating meals. We’ve been meaning to go back and give it another try, but just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Wandering around the casino trying to find some veggie eats. To my surprise, Pizzetta offered pizza with vegan cheese as an option. SCORE!!! I created my own with spinach, banana peppers, onion, tomatoes, roasted garlic, artichoke, olives, bell pepper. The pizza was drizzled with EVOO and sirracha on the side. Really good vegan option.

Stopped by here for dinner on my own a few weeks ago. I ordered a beer and had a chicken dish which was essentially chicken parm with some breaded eggplant between the chicken and the cheese. The food was quite good, if a bit simple. For a local. unpretentious Italian restaurant it is pretty good. The portions were of generous size. The staff was polite and attentive. The seating arrangements are a little strange with several narrow 2 or 4 person tables placed in a row looking at the bar but that’s not reason enough to avoid the place. If you’re looking for sit-down dinner in Macungie this is probably your best bet.

The one thing I absolutely love is their ability to deliver a meal that you may not see on the menu or a pizza creation you come up with in your crazy little mind. Let’s face it I’m a big guy, and I never leave this place hungry. Portions are how a(n) Italian place should be. I suggest you try my favorite which is a Thin crust, alfredo sauce, cheese, and grilled chicken pizza. You will wish you had a bigger stomach.

Sat at the bar as usual. Friday night, bar was packed by 6:30. Ambience was unusual. Wasn’t a fan of the décor but I’m getting used to it. It was pretty typical Pennsylvania Italian restaurant décor. I really don’t know how to describe it. If you live here and have visited other places you’ll understand what I mean when you see it. Our bartender was very nice. The people at the bar were pleasant. We don’t find a lot of the regulars in this town to be very pleasant. Here, Randall’s, and Pub on Main had nice regulars. Food — food was interesting. I definitely would not order the pizza again nor would I recommend it. We split the small Deluxe. They use fresh mushrooms, canned on pizza work best because they stay moist. Personal preference maybe. My husband’s family ran a pizza shop for years. Far too many toppings. We knew that there was a large variety of toppings, we just expected a little of everything. Instead we got a lot of everything. Some people might like that, I don’t. I feel it interferes with the baking of the crust. Crust was dense and crisp. I prefer pizza with a chewy crust that you can easily fold to eat. Antipasto was ok. It was really just lunch meat on lettuce. It was definitely large enough to split between two people. Pricing was fair. $ 9 salad, $ 12 small pizza, $ 8 double Jim Beam and Diets. Because I enjoyed the service and the people I might go back. I would just try something different.

It’s the same terrific owners who very much interact with their customers, give a lot to the community through charity donations and fundraisers all while keeping a well balance of food selection and quality. It’s a place where you can come with your family or sit at the adequately sized bar and have a few drinks with your friends… yes they even have specialty beers on taps. Don’t be fooled by the name change it’s a lot of the same good stuff serving the Macungie area and surroundings for almost 15 years now.
