Holiday Inn Express Hotel Macon – I-75 Riverside

Adjoining rooms — one with a decent bathroom, other with a yellow bathtub — strange. Overall was clean; nice tv, beds, pillows, mini fridge. Breakfast/​coffee was typical for Holiday Inn Express– cinnamon rolls are the best!
Agree w the review about the strangeness of the location — abandoned strip mall was eerie but once inside all was fine. I usually call ahead if we are checking in after 6 just to guarantee our reservation.
Walls a little thin. Ice only on two floors.
Overall I’d give this a 3 ½.

It was good clean rooms they have free coffee ²⁴⁄₇ that’s deff a plus the only thing is that the rate per night was lil too much for been a express in but we only stayed one night so not that bad and breakfast was awesome super good! :)

LOL @ the location. It’s next to an abandoned strip mall and feels much shadier than it actually is. Parking for the actual hotel seems extremely limited too. There is no way they have enough spots for every car if the hotel were to be fully booked. This is just an observation more than a criticism though, because it’s very easy to just park in the aforementioned abandoned lot, if needed.
Other than that, everything was fine and maybe even a little better than expected (we didn’t expect much). Wifi is free and it worked pretty well during our stay. My wife always likes the free breakfast at HI Express and this one came as advertised. At least they didn’t run out of everything like these breakfasts usually do.
Pretty convenient off of I-​75 when traveling through the area. Watch out for the talking elevator. Holiday Inn needs to lose those things.
