Excellent staff and decent selection of top-​notch kayaks.
The rental fleet is great, too, with very good rental prices, as well.
The shuttle service is a valuable tool for a good day on the river, and even if you don’t buy from him or rent a boat, you can arrange pickup with a phone call and a tip to the driver.
I’ve also seen these guys organize tubing trips for large groups, so there’s something to look into, if interested.
Be aware that the kayaks offered for sale are high-​quality, top-​end boats. That being said, the prices on the boats are competitive, but top-​tier kayaks demand a pricepoint you simply won’t see at big-​box stores. These guys provide a level of expertise and service that you won’t find at a big-​box, either.
You truly get what you pay for, and this store is fantastic.

This is a great store. The owner Josh is very helpful and knowledgeable about all things kayaking. I have never kayaked a day in my life and Josh really made it a good experience.
I rented two boats from him. He provided everything you need except the beverages. Most importantly is the shuttle service. Shuttle service is really important when kayaking a river. I thought that I was going to have to take two vehicles but Josh offers shuttle service which was included in the price of rental. Awesome. I am definitely going to rent from him again and I encourage anyone who is starting off in in kayaking to talk to him first.
In addition, I recommend that anyone who is a seasoned kayaker; is that a word? to go and see Josh. He knows lots of folks and can hook you up with other people to kayak with.
