When more kids are there, they need to make the pool bigger and drop the lines for laps.
There 2 lanes CLEARLY marked FOR ADULTS ONLY MAKING LAPS
The other two lanes are open, assuming for kids etc. So that’s where we were with kids
Well a guy who wanted to do laps asked 1 of the workers to kick us out of the NON ADULT lane. When I pointed out to the girl (worker) that the 2 other lanes marked FOR ADULTS ONLY is where he should be, she couldn’t answer me. U would think she would make the guy who wanted to do laps, go into the ADULT open lap lane.
Very disappointed in this for happening. When I am a paying guest!
It’s suppose to be a fun place to take the family but guess not !!

I am so impressed with this place. Clean, friendly staff and a ton to do. I came today as a group of 3 moms and 7 kids. We used the cabana changing rooms which were very nice and clean. Made it very easy to get the kids ready for the pool. The kids had a blast in the water. A really great setup. Then we dried off and went to the play area, which was another great area. This is a very kid friendly place and I will surely be back.

Very clean, friendly staff, lots of activities to choose from here. There is vollyball, track, basketball, ping pong, weighs, weigh machines, pool for laps, lots of exercising machines, activity classes, boot camp courses, yogo.etc.
If you live in the area and do not want to sign up for the yearly membership, daily passes are $ 5 bucks and you live outside the area it is $ 10.
To sign up for the yearly pass and you live within the area its $ 25 a month, which is an awesome deal! That’s only $ 300 a year for a membership.
It looks like a Lifetime Fitness gym, but cleaner and a lot less people.

Like most people, I struggle to get to the gym. Macomb Recreation Center makes every visit worthwhile. The child watch is great and cheap ($ 4 for 2 kids for 2 hrs) and my children love it there. The pool is clean and well-​manned. Love the zero depth pool, the slide, and the lazy river too. I really feel lucky to have all these amenities for only $ 40/​month for the family (we’re residents). The running track is also very nice, and I love how you’re not circling around other people as they work out.

Our family is so thankful for this Rec Center! The pool area is clean, warm, and well staffed. The kids love the waterslides, zero depth kids pool, and the lazy river set up. There are great locker rooms and family cabanas available for use. Along with the fabulous pool area, there is a large fitness area with tons of equipment and running track. There are basketball courts, a game room, party rooms, muti-​purpose rooms for meetings, and they have loads of classes for everyone, from babies to seniors. They also have community events like Halloween parties and tree lighting ceremonies. There is so much available and so many cool things for families to do together. Fabulous!!!
