Great fresh Chinese food and always worth the wait. One our go-to take out restaurants. We have never been disappointed give Golden Bowl a try.

We order carry-out from them weekly. It has become the standard by which we judge other Chinese food places! The eggrolls are made by hand and if you pay with cash they will often throw a few in for free! What have we had that we love in addition to the aforementioned eggrolls? Lo-mein, fried rice, pad Thai(yup!), general Tso’s chicken, beef and broccoli, kung pao chicken, cashew chicken, crab Rangoon. All excellent! Not an MSG bomb like many others. Oops — forgot to mention the Chinese gateway drug: Almond chicken — wonderful! They often get very busy(which is good for them) but just know when you order so you have proper expectations. I believe they are closed on Sundays and holidays as well. I’m OK with businesses taking time to enjoy their families just like anyone else. It just makes me crave their food more!

The best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. You must call in your order well in advance, I waited 45mins in the parking lot for my food. It was well worth it. I would definitely be back.

Very impressed! First of all I could see the kitchen was very clean. I ordered the chicken lo mein. It came out to roughly $ 8.50 and it was enough to fill me up. Can’t ask for more!

Sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, pork fried rice, the egg rolls… Everything was amazing. The chicken was crispy. The rice was amazing, not burnt tasting like other places. It has been a struggle to find good Chinese in the area but we have our spot now! Will not be going anywhere else when craving chinese!!!

Its my favorite Chinese place in Macomb. The General Two’s chicken is awesome. The staff is very friendly even when some of the customers are not. I strongly recommend this place of you are looking for good Chinese Food quickly.

Excellent! Ordered General Tso’s chicken, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. The chicken was fantastic! Crispy, sweet, and light– no heavy, soggy breading. Egg rolls were good. Not bad, but not as good as the chicken. The soup was great! Flavorful and great texture.

This is my new & fav go-to Chinese spot! I can’t believe how fresh and tasty their food is. They have the best sticky rice that doesn’t go dry and hard in minutes, and general tso’s that stays crispy even when reheated the next day! Their shredded Mongolian beef was awesome too, thin julienned slices of need, carrots, peppers, onions in a savory brown sauce. They have a few coupons but they only take cash for them. Can’t wait for my next Chinese itch to be scratched!

I think this little place nestled in Macomb gets underrated because it’s in a strip mall, tucked behind a 7 eleven. If it weren’t for searching Unilocal,I may not have even know it was there. But this has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. The quality of the food is really what stands out to me. Even when getting fried food like orange chicken, you can tell it’s still great quality food. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I had there. I also like that you can see right into the kitchen where the food is being prepared. I would say the only down side is that unless you spend something like $ 30, you can’t use a credit/debit card, they require cash. It isn’t a deal breaker for me, just sometimes inconvenient because I often don’t carry cash. Overall-great food, decent prices, will return!

This place used to be ok but there is always something there menu is constantly wrong, menu prices and website prices. Credit card machine like another person mentioned. Things that aren’t on the combo menu, they have to uncharge for cost of beef, now they don’t include x amount of eggrolls, screwed our last order up which was a large order and they didn’t seem to care to resolve it etc etc Here again tonight but only to pick up food for my wife I banned this place on my list and refuse to give them anymore of my business. Food is good but just not worth the trouble wife wanted one of her favorites so I caved. Happy wife, Happy Life :)

Had to try this place because it is close to home and read mostly positive reviews. Wasn’t that impressed. My boyfriend ordered chicken pad thai which I questioned him ordering that from a Chinese take out place. I was right. It wasn’t very good. No peanuts and zero spice when he ordered it medium. I ordered the seafood delight meal. The«crab» wasn’t real crab. False advertising! Spell it with a K if you aren’t serving the real thing. Also the little bit of lobster in the dish was too tough to eat. We had a better experience with the food right across the street at New Moon

Food here was alright. It wasn’t the best but I’ve definitely had worse. It’s a carry out only place & the time for your food to be ready was very short. They have many coupons on their website to use. The only negative thing I’d have to say is that they have a $ 15 credit card limit, otherwise it’s cash accepted only. Service was friendly but it wasn’t exceptional.

I was not«wow’d» by this food. My General Cho’s chicken was over breaded AND overcooked. The egg roll was bland. The shrimp fried rice had plenty of clean, decent sized shrimp in it, but it also was missing something flavor-wise. The highlight of the meal was the beef and broccoli my son ordered. It was very good.

By far the best Chinese in the macomb area! Clean kitchen that you can see right into. Have been going here for years!

Amazing food! It has a clean kitchen you can see into unlike many Chinese places. I always get steamed chicken and vegetables with garlic sauce.

I cannot believe the great reviews for this place. It was absolutely horrible. I asked for the house fried rice which is normally a safe bet. GROSS, it had fake krab meat, minced green beans and ham that tasted like it was coated in brown sugar. The lo mien had no flavor and was sweet also. To add insult to injury it took 40 mins for a carry out. I thought this might mean it was very busy because of how good it was. Wow was I wrong. It took that long because the husband and wife owners must be too cheap to hire any help and they were there all alone. The final straw is that the menu stated one price and I was charged another. The explanation: prices went up, the new menus aren’t printed yet but we’re still charging the higher amount… Really??? Normally I’m one & done if you don’t impress, but this was soooo bad I had to Unilocal. Negative 5 stars!!!

Great, fresh Chinese food. Not salty whatsoever. Big, healthy portions of food. You will definitely have left overs. It’s a mom and pap shop which is great! Everything seems to be cooked to order. Crab Rangoon is the best I’ve had at any Chinese restaurant. I recommend them! Also got fortune cookies and almond cookies for after dinner which was great. Only reason this place wasn’t given 5 stars was because the food did lack a little bit of flavor. I had the almond boneless chicken and my bf had the sweet and sour pork(which I did not try) I did have to use some soy sauce to kick up the flavor a bit. I will be back for sure, and an excited to try something else new!

So, you will not find any authentic Chinese food in these parts of Michigan– but what about some decent American Chinese food? I shouldn’t, but I do love me some lo mein, crag ragoon, and general tao’s chicken from time to time. This is almost as bad as mentioning the word Olive Garden to my 1st generation Italian significant other and watching him cringe. If you must have some American Chinese besides Panda Express or PF Chang’s, I think this place will hit the spot. First, the people are really nice. I had the vegetable lo mein and General Tao’s Chicken. The lo mein had plenty of vegetables and the chicken was fried just right. They don’t deliver, but are open late. Now, don’t order the Almond Boneless chicken. This isn’t even American Chinese. It’s Michigan American. You will never find this dish outside of Michigan, so these Cantonese people put it together to cater this oddness. They question how to make it themselves!
