So they bring back this ham sandwich called ‘The Yumbo’, which I can kind of remember from being small, but I can’t remember wanting one. Well, I wanted one now so I meandered inside to have a tea sandwich and a spot of soda.
Yumbo was like 4 skinny slices of middling ham on a way too starchy oblong bun with hella mayo, some lettuce and some really good cheese. I’m just glad I got a backup burger to offset the lackluster pork purveyance.
Now the establishment itself was nice, having undergone a fresh remodel with large flatscreen TV’s and bright paint was a nice touch. Nice place, nice staff.
Come in and get a burger, if you want a Yumbo, you can have mine too.
