This was my first attendance here. It is a very nice outdoor theatre with plenty of covered seating. I went here for the Brazilian Day Festival. This was a pretty nice size venue to host this event. The event was nicely setup and parking was a breeze and free. I would like to attend another event here to get the full experience.

I attended a concert at the venue and I love it.(The concert and the amphitheater!) The pavilion is nice and covered with ample legroom and aisle space. I chose to sit on the lawn abd it had a great view of the stage, especially at night. I would say the only downfall is that it is very dark on the lawn, at night because there are no overhead lights until the conclusion of the show. I found it a bit difficult to park. I ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood, but kept worrying whether my car was safe. I like this venue and would recommend it. I didn’t buy anything from concessions or visit the bathroom.

Nice clean venue, no charge for parking, quick in and out, every seat/lawn has a great view of the stage, all seats except for lawn are covered, and its byob,/byof! Its a great place to see a musical performance. Most of the speakers are placed close to the stage so that would be my only gripe if I was being very picky. I highly recommend this place!

Have been twice, both times parking was easy, concerts were great. Clean, good seats and lawn seats provide good views as well. Hightly recommend.

ATL’s BESTOUTDOORVENUE!!! ok, ok… i know that most of you think that i’ve misplaced this review(or my mind), but for my $$$ MHBA is the best outdoor concert value in the area. it’s a small venue(seats about 2000), which limits the selection of performers which perform there, but it’s an absolutely perfect venue for smooth jazz, country and pop/rock performances.(i’ve seen David Sanborn, Kevin Eubanks and Brian Culbertson there in the last couple yrs) parking @ MHBA is EXTREMELY easy to negotiate and reasonably priced($ 5 as i recall)…getting and out is a breeze! the venue offers great sight lines, an excellent sound/lighting system and reasonably priced concessions, for those who want it. seating is ample enough to allow patrons to bring picnic baskets and small coolers, complete with cup holders on the seats in front of each seat. uhhh…did i mention that the reserved seating is covered???(no rain-soaked fight or flight decisions needed) general admission(lawn) seating is also available… and there’s actually a well manicured lawn on which to spread out.(unlike some other venue what i won’t mention!) btw, lawn seating actually offers very nice sight lines, as well. last, but not least, the restrooms are clean! they’re even wired for sound, so you won’t miss what’s happening on stage! MHBA is the city’s best kept secret… check it out sometime! :)
