One of my favorite spots. The jerk chicken is my choice each time I visit, maybe 5 – 10 beef patties. They may not be available on arrival but if you call and let them know they will surely put it together for you. I would recommend this place to anyone simply because it’s really good food. Not the most enticing locations but isn’t this where we find the best food! A simple hole in the wall.

This place serves great food. Try it and you will enjoy as well. I live in mableton and there aren’t many Caribbean places to eat. This is the only one I will order from. I’m a loyal customer!

My first visit and it was great. I ordered the Oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. The Oxtails were ok, not enough seasoning for my taste. The cabbage was great, I loved it. The plantains were good as well. Overall I enjoyed it and I will return.

This place is a hidden gem in Mableton. How have I not found this place before? I got the veggie plate for lunch and it was pretty tasty! Washed it down with a ginger beer and was a happy customer. I only wished they had some veggie patties and maybe one other veggie plate option. I will definitely be back though!

Driving home from church I had a craving for oxtails. My regular place was past my house so I decided to Unilocal and found Caribbean Breeze. Thankfully other reviewers let me know it’s a small place so I didn’t pass it. I walked in to a fairly empty spot. 1 customer and the lady behind the counter was in the back. I was acknowledged as soon as the employee came out. She took my order as soon as she finished with her other customer. Now for the food. The portion was sufficient. The oxtails were good, not great. There was a taste to them that I couldn’t place but they were good. The steamed cabbage was some of the best I’ve had. Nice and firm, not cooked to mush like a lot of places. The rice and beans and plantains were also good. Overall, I’d go back if in the area but I wouldn’t make a special trip.

So far I’m very pleased with this restaurant. The service has been a little shaky but that’s understandable because they’re just opening and I expect it to get better(I have only been there twice). The flavor more than makes up for any lack in the service! So far I’ve had the curry goat and brown stew chicken and both have been outstanding!

I am a Curry Shrimp Roti addict and anytime I came to Atlanta my first stop was always Captain Mikes in Lillington, until they closed a couple of years ago.(Sniff… I still get a little teary-eyed about that). I have searched in vain for a quality roti since then and *insert heavenly chorus here* I have found one! This place is TINY! And very easy to miss(I accidentally drove by it twice), the attitude is very laid back… Like visiting friends house for lunch. Thy may be on the work phone, the cell phone and the register all at once, but they never stop smiling and delivering hot, fresh, delicious food. The Rotis are delicious and made to order, the brown stew chicken is absolutely wonderful… My super picky four year old nice nearly inhaled it… The plantains were a little overripe an tasted like a cooked banana, but weren’t bad. There is only enough room for twelve people to dine in, maximum, and don’t expect amenities like cups or ice for your drinks, but there is plenty of silverware and napkins… So dig in and enjoy!

I have stopped here a few times… The food keeps getting BETTER! It’s the most amazing thing. They also have these new combos that come in SUPER handy for Super Greedy People that like variety!(I happen to be one of these people). Oxtails had a GREAT flavor. Jerk Chicken is just«okay»…I say this because it’s «oven or stove cooked». I like REALGRILLED Jerk. This is not that, but definitely fits the bill when you are in the mood. But the food re-heats REALWELL! Tasted better the 2nd day! Nice portions, you get your money’s worth.

I have some good news and some bad news, the young lady was very friendly that’s the good news the bad news is that the chicken Pattie was over price, the Ox tail dinner was stuff with a lot of rice and beans not peas they don’t give allot of meat they have portion control on the meat .if I’m going to spend$ 11.00 dollars on a tray of Ox tails at least have the meat to show for it. The only reason I’m giving two stars is that people have to get better with charging high prices for meals that should be on the lunch menu… If something is GOOD and TASTEGREAT, I will be the first to say UMMMMGOOD !!! Hey I might be wrong … you the public might just like this place ??? it just open so check it and give your support. Much Love No Hate just(keep it real)

I stopped by a friend’s house one day and she proudly told me that since she knew I was stopping by, she picked up something for me to eat. As she presented me with a roti, I was skeptical as I always recalled my first roti experience that left me unimpressed. But being polite, I tentatively bit into my gifted roti and chewed. And then I stopped being so tentative. It was good! I ate the whole thing up and asked her where she got it from. Her response — this little«hole in the wall» by the Dominican hair place around the corner. I remembered that roti and soon had a taste for it again, so I grabbed my friend and today I found myself in front of Caribbean Breeze Eatery. It is certainly not a place, at first glance, one would think you can get great Caribbean food. But I was already a believer, so I glanced through the small shopping center, which featured what appeared to be multiple Afro-Caribbean businesses, and made my way in. Though seemingly a «hole in the wall,» I felt right at home. It was sparse, but bright and clean and bathed in shades of blue and orange. The service was prompt, but not urgent — that Caribbean casualness that is polite but somehow encourages you to relax. A young man took our order and as we began sipping on ginger beer, he smiled and actually left the restaurant briefly(maybe one minute). But I didn’t worry at all. And I didn’t need to worry, as he quickly brought back a petite, smiling lady who I assumed was the cook. Really, I was comforted by how warm they were and I had the distinct feeling that I was being prepared a home-cooked meal by my Caribbean aunt and her son, my first cousin. Now to be clear — I’m not related to them — lest you not believe my review. But there was something to the service that was not overbearing or «too familiar» but combined just the right amount of attentive service and warmth. So my friend and I waited and chatted. I noticed that one person sat comfortably outside the restaurant. There wasn’t *really* outdoor seating. But she sat in a chair, relaxing and eating. An old television behind the counter provided background noise. The food didn’t come out instantly — and that’s fine, because the food didn’t taste«instant» when we took it home to eat. I had plantains, ginger beer and a chickpea and curry potato roti. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt certain that if I had a Caribbean aunt, this is exactly what she would cook for me. The roti was very large. Really, I should have split it into two, but I stuffed myself and ate most of it in one sitting. It was that good. And I think the ginger beer helped it go down smoothly. I don’t eat meat and like that there are plenty of non– meat options on the menu — peas and rice, plantains, vegetable medley/plate, and tilapia. I didn’t try those things today, but I plan to return and try more of the menu. There are also plenty of options for meat eaters — oxtails, goat, chicken and more. For me, this was a great find for my area of town. I look forward to my next visit. The place was so comfortable, bright and peaceful that I could also see myself bringing my laptop and enjoying a Caribbean beverage as I surfed the web(there was a sign that indicated they have Wi-Fi).

I was anticipating this restaurant opening as there aren’t any authentic Caribbean restaurants in the area, and I hope this place stays open for a long time. To my amazement the food taste like I was at home on the island in the local restaurant. My hats go off to the chef! This is a must visit.
