Love Em and Leash Em

Two enthusiastic thumbs up! We went away for our wedding and had never left our dogs alone, we would go on separate vacations so we could care for them, then we found Patti! We are so grateful for her services! She visited 4 times a day and did an amazing job with our geriatric pups, which required a lot of extra attention and care! We can now look forward to a honeymoon knowing our family will be in great hands!

Patti is THE BEST! She cared for our five (yes, five) cats while we were out of the country for two weeks. She fed them, played with them, scooped the cat litter, and gave one of them his medication daily. She texted videos and updates almost every day. She’s is the nicest, sweetest, most outgoing person I’ve met in a long time. I cannot recommend her highly enough. We will absolutely work with her again!

Patti is so wonderful — I absolutely can’t say enough about her! She has watched my aging pooch on two different occasions while we were out of town. Right before our last trip, our dog’s hip started really giving her problems (she couldn’t even get up the stairs). Needless to say I was tremendously nervous about leaving her! Not only was Patti willing to give her medication 2x daily, she actually brought her over to her home for a couple of days so that she wouldn’t be additionally stressed by loneliness and the terrible storms we were having. My dog loves Patti and it is so refreshing to be able to be away and not have to worry. Our dog is always in great spirits when we get back!

Patti is absolutely wonderful! You couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of your dogs when you’re away. Both of my dogs responded so well to her– sometimes they seemed to act better for her than they did for me! You could tell that she adored them, and took care of them like they were her own dogs.
We had just adopted a new dog and both dogs were having a hard time adjusting to the change. Our new little girl was very energetic and after being crated while we were away at work would be a wild woman at night. I found Patti, and after talking with her and having her come over to meet our dogs, enlisted her to walk our dogs daily (to get them more used to each other and to get some of the energy out). Every day would send me a text message to update me as to how they were, and sometimes would even send pictures. She walked them and played with them, and their behavior when we got home from work completely changed.
I don’t know what she did, but she worked miracles with our pups. I’m so thankful for her and her services.

A person who can love your pet as their own is a true gem. I am new to the area and found Love Em and Leash Em on Unilocal.I am so grateful for Patti! We have an older dane rescue who does not do well in the kennel, and has a difficult time with transitions and new people. Patti took the time to get to know him, see how he interacted with her family, and even cared for him for a day or two while they got to know one another– all before she boarded him. I am so grateful to have found such a caring person who I know will love my big boy while I am away. Patti, you are wonderful! I’m so grateful to have found you!

We are so glad we found Patti! We have two dogs who have very different needs (one big, old guy with arthritits who can only have short walks and one very high energy puppy who needs lots of exercise) this can be challenging but Patti makes sure she gives both my beloved pets exactly what they need. I alwasy get a text with an update and photos of my happy pups after her visits. She is caring, professional, and trustworthy. I can’t say enjough good things!

Patti, or as I call her, the Dog Whisperer, is absolutely AMAZING with my two dogs.
I leave for work early in the morning and the dogs used to spend a great deal of time home alone. My dogs started to, on a daily basis, have accidents in the house. Understandably, because they were home for so long without going out. Now that Patti walks them daily, they have a whole new personality and are much calmer and almost never have accidents. It really was the best thing I could have done for them!
My job allows me to Work From Home on occasion. I always know when she is here because my dogs go crazy when they see her car. She really is the sweetest person and does a great job with the boys!
She was the easiest and BEST decision I ever made!

Patti is my best friend’s new best friend. I felt bad boarding my dog-​even if it was just for a day or two, so I searched for in-​home pet services and found Patti.
Patti took excellent care of my dog and my two cats while I was out of town for a weekend, and she sent texts and photos each time she visited, so I felt connected to my fur babies while I was gone. She brought the mail in, cleaned the cat box, and she even left an Easter basket of dog, cat and people treats for my pets and my three kids – from the Easter Beagle. When she came by to return the keys, my dog went bananas and was so excited to see her!
It was so nice to know all my pets were comfortable and cared for in my home, and not in a crate in a place that was strange to them. It was also nice to know my house still had a dog inside it while I was gone – I really appreciated that extra feeling of security.
Patti is the best! We’ll be calling her every time we need care for our pets.

Patti did a wonderful job for us with our Kittie Twinkie while we were away for 2 weeks in England. She spent half an hour each day with him which he LOVED and sent us a daily video clip which WE LOVED.
When we got home he was healthy & happy and so were our plants which Patti had also cared for in our absence as well as picking up mail for us.
We are VERY happy to recommend her to pet owners seeking a caring pet sitter.

I am a bank manager in Lyons and Patti has been my customer for over 15 years. I was very excited to hear about her new business venture. I recently adopted a dog from the Anti Cruelty Society in Chicago after 13 years without a pet. I was anxious about leaving Bode in a kennel and then I remembered Patti’s pet caring business. Met Patti at the Brookfeild Farmer’s Market, was very impressed and used her services the next month. My 3 big goofy dogs were happy and well taken care of while we were gone, we maintained contact and I was assured they were in good hands. She came over to let them out & feed them 3 times a day and then I found out she spent about an hour each time giving them personal attention, and believe me, they are NEEDY doggies! I completely reccomend Love Em and Leash Em!!!
