Long Beach Boulevard/I-105 Green Line Station

The Long Beach Green Line Metro station, located right on the 105 freeway, has its own parking lot, just like most other stations. The station is upstairs, so youll get a good view of the bustling freeway!
Nearby this station lies Plaza Mexico, Tam’s Burgers, St Francis Medical Center and such. Wait times can vary here. Police are always patrolling this station, which is always a good sign. At times, there will be a checkpoint on the southbound lanes of Long Beach Blvd on certain nights!
As with other stations, make sure you use your Tap card before boarding. You don’t wanna get caught paying such a hefty fine just because you simply «forgot» to pay your fare!

Some people consider this station to be «hood». Well it is the border city between my hometown of downey and watts. Niiiiice. However, this station gets me places & I am only here if I want to go to Compton Fashion Center or Plaza Mexico. Also its near the holy grail – tams! Haha

I took the METRO to work for the first time today, and I think I like it! Got a little motion sickness because I was reading, but I think I know what to do next time to avoid that.
This station has more parking than the Downey station off Paramount and it is conveniently located right underneath the station. I was surprised to see so much parking available after hearing from my cousin about how the Norwalk parking structure gets filled quick (but that one accomodates a lot of commuters from OC also cuz it is the first/​last stop on the green line).
