Out of my entire trip up to this area, eating at a different restaurant for every meal, and thoroughly enjoying every bite we took, this was, by far, my favorite stop. We had an amazing time. I had the filet mignon, perfectly cooked, a lobster tail with drawn butter, a salad, a twice baked potato, and an amazing array of cocktails. Our waiter, Sonny, was so wonderful. He was helpful, friendly, funny, and sweet. We were there for upwards of three hours. I was stopped on the way to the restroom and was complimented on my dress by the staff. I was complimented on my laugh by one of the staff. It just really seemed like everyone that worked there was incredibly kind and thoughtful. If there is a manager that reads this, please give your staff a big thank you from me. Especially Sonny. He was the perfect guy to help out my aunt and I that evening. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience.

I don’t normally care to post a review but here it goes… The experience was just absolutely amazing. Tonight I went out with my fiancé, his mother and her husband who was celebrating his 70th birthday. Tonight was the night to celebrate and last minute I decided to mention the keg. Sure enough it was the best restaurant experience living in Washington state. Our service was the amazing Kevin. And if he weren’t as great as he was then it wouldn’t have been the same. Look for Kevin when coming to the keg! Works weekends! He’s awesome! The steak was perfection and the desert was to die for.

Early evening visit on 5⁄22; everything was exactly as expected in the way of quality food and ultra-professional service. Our waitress, along with the rest of the staff, went above and beyond to create a dining experience! Thanks!

Went here for my husbands birthday! It was a great experience! We all ordered steak of different cuts and had one order of ribs in our party of 6 and we we’re all in rapture about how good they were! The place was very busy, we had good service and it had great steak house ambiance! It’s officially out place to go for good steak from here on out!

We always enjoy our dinner here. We arrived at 7 and told waiting time was 50 min but we were seated within 40 mins. I order peppercorn New York steak and my wife ordered top sirloin. Both steaks were delicious and flavorful. Kids meal were awesome as it comes with complimentary fruit platter and ice cream. Service was fast and spontaneous. We love to come to this location(lynwood). Parking can be problematic during busy hours. Highly recomended.

Haven’t been here for a while and it was nice. A little on the spendy side but overall pretty good. My waiter was not the best and pretty inattentive. Overall, a good solid 4 stars.

Worst prime rib I’ve ever had. Ordered the 10oz, and when it came, I had 5 ounces of fat! If I was a waiter, I’d be embarrassed to serve this to a customer! The«mixed» vegetables were a few strands of string beans & some mushrooms. The best part of the meal was the twice baked potato. Won’t ever come here again.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Went with friends on a Monday evening around 7. The parking lot was full, and many diners were leaving as we arrived. We were seated right away, and promptly greeted by our waiter. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Others in our party had the prime rib, and seemed pleased. The twice baked potatoes were quite good, and I loved the green beans/red peppers served with my sirloin – very tasty. Service was attentive and our waiter had a great«table-side manner». I had the vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce for dessert – premium ice cream as described – quite good. A very nice evening .we would dine here again!

One of the best meals and service I’ve had in a long time. Happened to be walking distance from the hotel, and Unilocal reviews were good so I thought we’d give it a try. Glad we did. The service from everyone, even those not serving our table, made eye contact and thanked us for dining there. Our server was very attentive, the pace of the meal was perfect. The food was fresh and very tasteful, good wine list & a nice bar. Mixed drinks were served with spirit separately so the drink could be mixed to taste, really appreciated that. While it was not inexpensive, there is tremendous value in the food, ambiance, and service. Worth every penny. I’d absolutely eat here again when in the Seattle area.

Updating my review. Two years later, and the food is still all right but not great, and the service is still lacking. My mom, her friend and I went to lunch here on 3⁄19. They picked The Keg. I hadn’t been in a couple years and wasn’t looking forward to it but thought what the hell, I’ll give it a shot. The place was mostly empty for lunch at Noon on a Saturday. The hostess was still keeping people hostage, pretending she had to try to find a table for them. When we left, there were three of them at the host stand, keeping up appearances while a couple waited for them to figure out when they were going to let them sit down. Ordered a steak medium well. It arrived well done with one end burnt. I didn’t bother saying anything. The garnish was fine. Mo and her friend ordered the same thing, caesar salads and bacon wrapped scallops. They said their food was great. Jacob, our waiter, approached the table by jumping into the middle of our conversation about not liking a new movie coming out. He came from left field, and none of us knew what he was talking about at first. He didn’t introduce himself, ask if it was our first time there, zip. He kept up this odd tactic throughout service, rambling something about Key West and stealing salt while he was there while we stared blankly. He finally asked for our orders. Later, he came by after the servers delivered the entrees to ask if everything was ok and offered to refill their drinks, not saying a word to me. We had to ask for butter for the bread then more butter again when my food was presented and there was none for my baked potato. When I was almost done with my entrée, Jacob remembered I existed and brought me another soda. When the dessert was brought over by someone too dressed to be a server or another waiter, but didn’t introduce himself, he realized he forgot forks and brought them back later with a mumbled apology. We got cheesecake, and it was really good. When the waiter came by to clear plates, he asked Mo if she liked it. After she said yes, he said it wasn’t made in the restaurant and that he thought it was the best cheesecake he’d ever had, too. She asked him where it came from then, but he was already gone. Mo and her friend ordered coffee with dessert, and my mom found five used, empty sugar bags in the sugar bin. Yuch! Jacob thought it was a great idea to come grab the checks right after they were signed while we were still seated. Food: 3 Service: 1 Ambiance: 3 Parking: 4

I don’t normally leave reviews but I find myself feeling zealous. While I admit my first time going to The Keg was simply a capricious decision. That being said, it is not strange that I enjoy The Keg so much. I have been rather vocal about it on Instagram and can give only the best accolades. The Keg is simply idyllic. The secret menu is probably one of the best things for a restaurant to do. Though from that, the thing I get most often and would consider avant-gardeis is the«three cheese butter». Seriously, try it. When going you can get a table or just sit at the bar. My suggestion, sit at the bar. Most servers operate in a dilettante fashion. However if you get a chance to sit in Francesca’s section. You will find yourself in rather capable and fastidious hands. She is simply amazing. Plus she puts up with my often indelicate rhetoric and conversations I have with fellow peers. The first time I met her I actually was taken back because she looks very much like Trisha Hershberger. Yeah, I know quite the compliment but you will understand. Anyway, 5 stars. This place has been on of my favorite places to go. Often willingly Incurring a nearly hour drive from the Eastside just for the Three cheese butter, Keg Burger and Francesca.

We all know that The Keg Steak House and Bar is a chain restaurant, however, the staff at this Keg distinguishes themselves. My wife and I have eaten here for years. The staff is always great, the food is nicely prepared, presentation is carefully done. The Keg Burger is a great lunch — today was cold rainy and blustery — the burger and piping hot coffee were a great lunch.

Celebrating a special occasion: Served warm potato chips on arrival. Some were soft but we were hungry! Bread: heavy… Ordered prime rib. Aged for extra flavor and tenderness, rubbed with our unique blend of spices and slow roasted. Hand carved and served with horseradish and red wine herb jus. The menu did a great selling job. Unfortunately nothing lived up to the item as described. This was disappointing because the meat lacked flavor. It was also sinewy. That’s surprising. Asparagus was one of the accompanying vegetables. More asparagus stalks than tips. ?! They were happy to make something new. Rib eye: served with button mushrooms and baked potatoes. All I can say is it was delicious! House cab: yummy! Tuna tacos: loved the tangy sauce but tuna was a little dry. Not the freshest. I appreciate the way my less than stellar dining experience was handled. They took ownership, made things right and checked in on us.

So happy this Keg location is still open! Will start out by saying that the hostess and server were both very lovely and totally accommodating. We got there nice and early at 4:30 on a Saturday and got a table right away, but the place filled up very soon after. When we were leaving around 6 the waiting area was packed. The food was up to The Keg standards for sure. Salad was fresh and chilled nicely. The top sirloin and baseball steak were cooked exactly as requested. Sides were nice and fresh and flavourful. We also topped off our meal with the crème brulé to share even though we were stuffed and had to get a take away box for left over meat. Lots of parking, beautiful interior, and seating was comfortable. We shall be back for sure!

Wow. Just wow. Drove up from Bellevue because it’s worth it when you’re in the mood for a steak. Of course, you have to tear up an order or two of buttery, cheesy garlic bread while it cooks. Ordered a rib steak rare«Chicago style»(meaning charred n the outside. Yum). When it arrived, it looked good but not exactly charred. Cbear’s looked perfect. I was pouting a little. Rosebud also thought her prime rib was a little closer to medium. Notified the very sweet waitress, who offered right away to fix it. Even left the twice baked potato and tasty sauteed vegetables(mushrooms, green beans and red peppers — so good) so my fat butt wouldn’t starve in the meantime. I was happy, but it didn’t end there. Almost immediately, the manager, Nephi Ruf, arrived on the scene. He apologized, even though were weren’t exactly upset– just a little disappointed. He also insisted on replacing Rosebud’s prime rib with a rarer cut– even though it was the end of the night and meant cutting into a whole new roast. My new steak arrived charred to perfection. They also replaced the sides we had eaten with new ones. AND … wait for it: he comped both of our entrees anyway. The meal was excellent, but the customer service was off the hook. Wish I could give them 10 stars for that!

Place is predictable. Food is ok and appetizers are not really great. The steak I ordered came cold, or not at the temperature it should be served. Seats at the bar area are more like pizza bases. Gets a + for the servers who were on top of their business.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been good. Great tasting food and great service. Sadly there is only one left now in Washington. It’s worth making the trip from Renton to Lynnwood. The prime rib is where it’s at that’s usually my go to choice. The filet mignon is a close second if I’m feeling like getting something different. Their twice mashed potatos is amazing. Tonight I decided to try out the baby back ribs and it was average in taste for me. I’ve had better and probably won’t get it again next time I’m there. But for apps I had the crunchy shrimp and calamari both were exceptional. Hurry in for your steak craving before this one goes to. Hopefully they’ll stick around really enjoy the dining experience here.

One star earned for my wife’s very nicely executed pork ribs dish. Another one for the excellent crème brûlée. Zero for my teriyaki chicken with«Keg’s Teriyaki sauce» apparently MIA, zero for Ballast Point’s IPA, and zero for The Keg being out of Riesling for(according to what I heard the manager say) 2 days. They have no substitute sweet wine and the list for both wines and beers isn’t terribly long. That was my experience two days ago. I filled out the survey online with my email address and waited 48 hours for management to respond to the observations I am sharing here. No response received. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming despite the unassuming exterior. The host was very forthcoming. The waitress a bit too pushy trying to sell me another disappointing beer when I barely finished half my glass. I get it, there are only five beers on the menu, one of which is draft. The first one I pick after my first choice of beverage isn’t in stock is disappointing. I should have returned it, my bad. The point is that a beer as disappointing as Ballast Point(even though the description on the menu appeared about 90% accurate) doesn’t bode well for the rest. I am not saying it doesn’t taste bad, it just doesn’t seem to match with the style of the Keg. Back to my chicken. Why order it in a steakhouse? Because not everyone enjoys steak if it’s not from grassfed cattle or bison, but you may want to please someone who does or who wants the ribs as in the case of my wife. Have I been to steakhouses where the chicken was moist, tender and flavorful? Certainly. The Keg was, alas, not among them. Expect a dry, dense, uninspiring piece of what once probably looked like a good piece of mass produced(i.e. not free range/organic) chicken served at free range prices and presented in such a boring way that I may have looked like the village idiot at the table. It was served, to top it off, on a plate that resembled one that made it through World War One. The waitress and the manager knew my chicken wasn’t good because when they inquired about our meal they were all over my wife’s food and walked away when it was my turn to say something. Noise level is moderate. Warm décor, dark wood and somewhat romantic lighting complement the atmosphere. Extremely limited beer menu in the dining area. I did not check if the bar area had a more extensive beer menu. Somewhat limited wine menu. When they run out, they don’t go to a local store to get a bottle or two but instead wait for the next corporate delivery the following week. Their wine selection seems pretty run of the mill and readily available at local merchants so a bit extra effort might go a long way imho. I’d go for a better steakhouse when I want beef. My wife may still want to come back for the ribs though — and that not too sweet, freshly made every day crème brûlée.
