I came in here the other day and it took Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum behind the counter 30 minutes to completely screw up 5 sandwiches(4 of them were exactly the same so technically they took 30 min to screw up 3 sandwiches). It was so bad we ended up walking out hungry and without food. I talked to the manager who apologized and promised to get our order for free next time we came in. However when we came in the next day, Tweedle Dum from the day before made our sandwiches wrong(again) then denied any knowledge of free sandwiches. After another conversation with the manager(who assured me this would be taken care of), Tweedle Dum began interrogating my boyfriend about the situation instead of apologizing he said he didn’t understand why we thought we were entitled to free sandwiches. Worst customer service experience ever. I’d rather drive out of my way to the next subway over than return to this one. They clearly cannot get it together.

So I went to this Subway location yesterday for the very first time and was very disappointed. The veggies are a lot less than all the other subways I’ve been to. I asked for shredded cheese but ended up with cheddar. The worker entered the wrong item and overcharged me a dollar. The worker was friendly but apparently needs more training.

This Subway is about a mile from my house, so I’m in here fairly often. It’s easy to miss, sort of hidden away next to a sketchy motel. I think they could probably benefit from some more visible signage. All the food I’ve had from here has been fresh and well prepared. The owner’s generally in the store, and as somebody else said he’s an immigrant(from eastern Europe somewhere I’d guess) — not sure why that’s important but he certainly puts in the hours, speaks good English and has a sense of humor. The people who have prepared my food when he wasn’t around have always been courteous and fixed my sandwich the way I asked them to. What else do you want for five bucks? If you want an inexpensive and quick meal, this is definitely one of the better options in the area.

I am only marking 1 star since I have to in order to write a review. However, if there was an option to put –1 then I would definately chose that one. The two girls working there were very unfriendly and looked at you like you were bothering them. I understand they are teenagers working a summer job but this is just Customer Service 101. They talked to each other during the time they were making the sandwiches and just looked at you with a scowl. I had cucumbers put on my sandwich that I immediately had to take off as they were rubbery and yellow. Then I made the mistake of using the restroom. It smelled like urine, the toliet had mold inside the bowl where the water meets looking like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the sink also had mold around the facet. YUCK! Thankfully they did have paper towels! I will never go back to that Subway!

The Subway is easy to get to in a strip mall. Parking was easy. The sandwich makers were Russian, but could speak very good English. Christian Rock music was playing on their stereo. The breads, veggies, meats, sauces, and cookies were very fresh. It was a little slow at times. They started running out of ingredients around 6:30pm. The raspberry cheescake cookies were rich and awesome. The seating area seemed a bit worn out or dirty. It felt like they needed to do some spring cleaning.

In general this company has really been getting to me over the last 3 or so years. It’s not just THIS location but this location takes the cake! I will never — ever go back to ANY Subway as long as I live. I don’t generally like to see businesses fail but this one needs to! New owner after new owner after new. .. cheap a$$ owner has run this whole company right into the ground! Can’t wait for them to close up — all of them! Enough is enough. I think I was in high school when the 1st Subway showed up around these parts(late 80’s/early 90’s?). I liked the company/product/concept(in the *past*). They made a name with *fresh* food — *fresh* bread baked in house…same day. Since that time, I have seen the quality fall off…almost as far as it can go without there being health issues(not saying there have not been health issues as well — just has not been my experience). Its just *sad* to see what was a great place for lunch turn into such a mess! Long story short, no more fresh. .. anything and the bread may have been baked in house but I gotta believe its made maybe more like once a week or so. Oh sure — they’ll tell you it was fresh today but come ON! You think I’m stupid or something!?! Places that don’t bake their bread in house don’t serve me crunchy bread — give me a break. and.. . whats with the clearish mayo…how old is that? Wilty veggies with pinkish /brownish edges all sour and mushy — yuck! Oh — and really light on the product as well. I remember when they were full of really great veggies and fresh meats…on fresh bread — man — they were good…and filling. .. and worth it! I’m gonna just stop here…I won’t even go into the lack of service /poor customer experience part(for this location) after all, they never said they were selling an experience. .. just cheap food. I guess it was a bonus in years past that the people who worked there cared, smiled, were nice…people you didn’t mind were touching your food etc.. . Just had to get this off my chest — been brewing for way too long…far too many crappy visits to list at a few of the local Subways(Woodinville, Mountlake Terrace and the other one in Lynnwood off 164th. .. and the one in Bellevue off NE8th next to Starbucks) all of ya could close up tomorrow and I would be happy to see ya go and take the rest with ya…before it all gets even worse.

I really enjoyed my trip to this local subway. The location is off of 99 on the northbound side of the highway. The restaurant is clean with friendly help.

I ate there this morning and had a bacon, egg and cheese on english muffin. I also grabbed an orange juice which was really good. I wish that they put more cheese on the sandwich and wish that the muffin was buttered a little but otherwise it was really good. The price was super cheap. I got a breakfast sandwich and orange juice for less then 5 dollars! try the breakfast at subway, it is pretty much worth it for the really cheap price.

Great food, wonderful service! I love this particular location because Nicole, who works during the day is so sweet. Also, they have spinach as one of the options for your sandwich. I normally get the seafood delight on flatbread with spinach(which is hard to find at other Subways), cucumber and honey mustard. I’m not super crazy about their soups, but the rest of the food definitely makes up for it. My boyfriend always gets the $ 5 foot-long ham with just about every topping you can imagine. I wish they had a better selection of sodas, but hey at least they have diet.
