Never really thought about Unilocaling an eye doc until I met Dr. Shim. She’s friendly and takes the time to explain everything. Appointment went as it should — and her staff is bubbly and helpful.

So I am writing this even before my appointment. Point and case:
advertises on their website: «up to 60% discount on eye exams and a 40% discount on transitional lenses, plus a best in store offer of an additional $ 5 off purchase.» When I called for my appointment, I was told that the eye Dr, only gives a $ 5 discount on the exam and no more. That was a disappointment. Today the manager phoned me to explain that that offer is only for participating doctors and the one at that location does not participate. It is what it is. I will still go to my appointment. Thank you Samantha — Optical Shop Manager for taking the time to call me today.

Their service is always really good. They work with my insurance and are really helpful making choices on contacts and glasses. They are always detailed on what they do and they explain everything so you don’t feel lost.

Joining the Samantha fan club too (as if i knew it existed before)!! The service in Lynnwood Sears Optical is top notch. I got a pair of glasses but found some defects that I wanted to return the sunglasses. Samantha helped me in a very professional manner and not giving me any pressure. I was so happy with the experience and really recommend anyone who’s debating on where to go for opticals :)

Amberly is another gem here. She had my glasses out and waiting when I showed up early for my appointment. I adore the ladies here, very thoughtful and respectful of your time and a hoot!

I’m gonna join the Samantha fan club here and rave about my recent visit to Sears Optical in the Alderwood Mall. It has been five years since I got new prescriptions, and I was filled with anxiety and apprehension about how it would go over. But my experience was nothing short of awesome, from the customer service to the screaming deal I got on two pairs of glasses!
First of all, Samantha made me feel like a VIP. It actually didn’t take me very long to locate the two frames that I wanted (their selection was really good, and I chose two Ray Ban frames around $ 160 or so each). I was really shocked and awed when I only ended up spending less than half of the $ 500 budget I had come in with. Samantha made sure that I got the most out of my vision benefits in conjunction with their Buy One Get One Free deal. I saved so much money I went and bought something nice downstairs at the Lands End shop! Anyways, Samantha never stopped being enthusiastic about helping me from making sure I understood all my options to making sure that I walked away with the best deal possible. She restored my faith in customer service!
When I went back to pick up my glasses about two weeks ago, I was disappointed that Samantha wasn’t working, but the young gal that helped me (I don’t remember her name) was very nice and she had several customers all waiting at the same time, but was attentive to everyone, which isn’t easy to do. She fitted my glasses for me and I was out of there lickity-​split. It has been two weeks, and I absolutely LOVE my glasses!
I will definitely be returning to Sears Optical when it’s time for my next prescription, and I really hope they have the same stellar team of people working there! Thank you Sears Optical!

The best optical in the area, the staff and the manager is the best in what they do. The doctor is the kindest, nicest person you will ever come across.

Samantha made this visit the most fun and profitable trip we’ve ever made to an optician. It rates pretty high on the list of really fun shopping experiences, too!
My mom has waited too long to get new glasses and prescription sunglasses, and even though my sister and I had gotten her to the store, she’s so particular that it was a fifty-​fifty chance of Mom getting up and walking out.
NOT WITH SAMANTHA! She talked, cajoled, persuaded, gave us a great discounted deal, and was just a crazy stinking delight to work with. Yes, the selection in the store is very good, but Samantha is the reason we’ll be back.
And we *all* wear glasses.

Dr Derin is without a doubt the best in the biz. He is so friendly and considerate, and he always takes the time to explain what is going on with your eyes — whether you just need new contacts or have something more serious going on. I am just so glad I found him when I moved here! Plus, you are conveniently at the mall when your appt is over!
