Came in here for a spontaneous coffee+pastry find. Had this bookmarked on Unilocal for a long time now and was in the area so of course I’m going to stop by! With that said, i was excited to see the garden buzz. It was a cute small shop owned by a sweet lady. There were two tables inside for seating, i personally wouldn’t go here for a sit down unless I really want to not be bothered by anyone and be away from the city. It was quite peaceful, the back led to trails that takes you around this huge pond(dirty but its whatever). There were plenty of outside seating and I was with my bf so it was a nice stroll. The trails are too close to the buildings/apartments that took a bit of that garden privacy away atleast for me. It ended up circling to a dumpster of one of the buildings. I Honestly don’t mind any of that, but if they had done much more, this 4acre of land would have so much more potential. Its a nice stop especially during spring time. As for coffee and pastries, i would compare it To a regular café drive thru. I did order something simple, but I saw they offered alot of different mocha lattés. Maybe next time!

I’m not even sure this place is still open? I have left several messages about purchasing gift cards for our events, no return calls or even phone being answered. I went there on the weekend and it was closed during posted hours? The outside area is backed up to a park so even if you do not get coffee it’s a fun area to walk the kids in. It has always been closed and I never see anyone in the locked building? I live by it and don’t know how the other people posting on here got coffee? I would like to try it but have not been able to catch it open?

Good coffee with a really good outdoor seating area. The garden area backyard apart feels magical. They also do latte art here. Just make sure to ask for it ^^ Free wifi too

This is my first trip, but I am already so impressed! I am vegan and was so excited to find that they have practically every type of milk alternative available: coconut(my fav!), almond, hemp, soy, vanilla soy… maybe others, those are just the ones I saw. They also have a ton of yummy(though not vegan) sounding drinks like Butter Rum Mocha and lots of food options– both sweet and savory(including vegan wraps). I had a coconut latte with coconut milk that was good. The owner is an adorable woman who walked through all of her options with me and made sure to ask if I was allergic to milk. The place itself is quite small: there are two small two-tops(big enough for 1 person to work at), a four-top and a small couch, but the real draw is the garden seating– there are quite a few small tables with chairs scattered through the gorgeous garden area just behind the coffee shop(4 acres!). An adorable place to spend an afternoon!

This is a seriously lovely coffee bar. Take a walk in Scriber Park and sit here afterwards in a European setting and coffee in real cups. Indoor and outdoor setting. You can even stroll around their pond. I have found my coffee stop for when I’m in Lynnwood. And yes, they have wifi. Intimate, sunny, wooded, excellent coffee. Highly recommend.

Ever sense I walked in and got my first cup of coffee, I haven’t been able to stop going. Some of the most rich, and tasty coffee I’ve had. I enjoy the owner Penny, she makes me feel welcome and like family every time I come in. The environment in this place is wonderfully, although it might be a little tight inside. I for sure will be by more often.

My wife and I wanted to get a coffee treat for our family before going to Mt. Rainier with the kids. We’ve heard about all the great coffee in the area(other than going to the original Starbucks, which we did the day before), and wanted to try what the locals drink. It was definitely the best coffee around. The service was very nice and professional. I even asked for extra chocolate in my iced Mocha, and got exactly what I asked. Great tasting drinks. We all tried a little bit of each others drinks, and got some variety of tastes, all good. We didn’t go through the entire place, but was told it sits on 4 acres of well manicured gardens. I hope it continies to serve coffee for a long time to come, as I look forward to going there the next time we are in the Northwest.

Today I was at the Wilcox farmers market my dad had me run and go get some coffee. So I decided to try this cute looking coffee place specially since it was within walking distance. The place is laid out nicely although a little tight. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte and a iced white chocolate mocha. After about 10 minutes my drinks were made. The gal rang me up. After I scanned my card and tipped then proceeded to sign she asked me if I had money in my account. I was totally shocked by what she had asked me. That is probably one of the rudest things anyone has ever asked me. I know I look young but I’m 21 years old and have a paying job. There was a couple older guys behind me that were kinda shocked buy what she had asked me. On my way out of the caffe I tried my drink tasted very watery. $ 11 for two grande drinks and a water. Definelty not going back again. Will walk farther for coffee on Thursdays.

This place has a wonderful atmosphere. It’s green, petite, and peaceful. I haven’t really had many drinks from this place so I can’t rate the taste of the coffee, but I can say that this place is the place to go to relax and have a nice chat with your friends, family, and your lover. :)

Espresso Buono is my happy place. This is seriously the first place I go when I am feeling stressed out, or just need a couple hours to chill out. The syrup selection is great, and the handmade lavender mocha mix is delicious. There are always little locally made earrings and cards for sale, adding to the sense that this is a community place, and the back room is perfect. Lush greenery surround all the windows, which overlook a sweet little pond outside. There is a fireplace inside, a comfortable couch, a selection of books and journals for anyone to borrow or buy, and a chalkboard wall for kids. But here’s the thing… I don’t like to bring my daughter here… because it is MY special place.

Cute, charming, and full of character! One of the few place to get floral flavored syrups! I love getting vanilla/rose latte or the lavender/vanilla latte. Great seating area at the back of the café and great outdoor seating as well. The lavender mocha is delicious as well. Friendly service.

If I could rate 0 stars I would! Worst Americano ever! In fact, none if us could even drink it. And I’m not sure what we were served that were supposed to be cheesy eggs, but it was inedible. Very bad experience. On a positive note, the grounds were very nice.

We’re converts! What a charming oasis of whimsy, greenery, and deliciousness, in a desert of suburban strip-mall sameness. The coffee is excellent, and the food is unusual and creative and more affordable than(cough, Starbucks, cough) — e.g. baked eggs for breakfast($ 5), artichoke bagel panini for lunch($ 4?), homemade cookies, and even home-made frozen custard which is to die for. It’s a funky, utterly cozy little place with a tiny counter, a small«reading room»(with used books for sale), and a delightful patio garden which feels like you’re anywhere but the Land of MegaCorp(sorry, Lynnwood, it’s true). Outside, in the delightful garden area which I can’t believe hasn’t been purchased and bulldozed by McDonalds, there are lots of trees for shade, and a «pond trail» leading to a… real pond! with lily leaves and a fountain! We sat outside today with our little dog and our frozen custard and felt like we were on a tiny, 30-minute vacation. I love that there is an independent café here and will give them as much business as I can. Also — my partner, who had a $ 5-a-day Starbucks habit, is now going to make them her regular place instead. Go, cute little small business! We love you!

My wife and I stopped in here randomly on a Saturday afternoon while in the area because the storefront looked so inviting. The front was full of flowers and the café looked so cozy! We got… 16oz Vanilla Latte — Delicious. The vanilla was noticeable and just right and the milk and espresso were both great. I really enjoyed this. 16oz Rainforest Mate tea — Very tasty. It was a strong, flowery tea with a hint of mint. My wife happily sipped it the rest of the afternoon. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

My grandparents love going to Wights Nursery ever fall/winter to see this Christmas display. This year we noticed a sign pointing over to a café and decided to check it out for lunch. I am so glad we did. Espresso Buono is a cute little café. They have good coffee, good bagels, paninis, and breakfast sandwiches. They also have a selection of desserts and other drinks. They have a small seating area in the back(a few tables and a small sofa) with books to read and windows that look out at a pond and wooded area. They have«conversation/questions cards» on some tables which are fun to ask the people you are with. There is also some outdoor seating. The people working there are always friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!

my boyfriend just had his first taste of Espresso Buono coffee — Raspberry white mocha and said it was amazing! Raelyn always laughs at my jokes, and Audri is so amazingly sweet! Penny — you’re place is da bomb!

Being a reluctant suburban dweller who dreams of livin’ life in the big city, I am constantly on the look-out for those little gems in Lynnwood that aren’t a franchise. Espresso Buono definitely fits the bill! Not only do they serve excellent coffee(they hand-tamp which makes me very happy), the atmosphere is reminiscent of some funky coffee shop in downtown Seattle – not at all the CorporateLand of 196th street. Sit outside in their garden on a sunny day with your favorite book, and you are sure to forget all the ticky-tacky around you!
