I didn’t have the honor to try this über delicious peanut butter cookie that everyone’s been talking about, but the chocolate chip cookie was just as amazing as described on Unilocal.Gluten and dairy free, I was happy to have a cookie that didn’t upset my stomach. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on such fine gourmet cookies as these, a must try for cookie lovers. b

Peanut butter cookies are gluten and dairy free and are AMAZING. I get them at Zippy’s Café in Everett. I wish she sold them at more places!

Tried the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip cookies today @ Waterfront Coffee Company today. I’ve been blessed to FINALLY find a gluten-free cookie that didn’t turn to crumbles once I picked it up! Great soft, moist texture, rich flavor and wonderfully priced.(HUGE cookie, BTW). The ingredients are even better — flax seeds and coconut oil! I’m loving this. I wouldn’t be surprise if there’s a cookie cult…

When meals were first delivered I was dubious that the portions were accurate per online specs of «2 servings» for some items, but it turned out to be pretty spot on. However, I was not terribly impressed by any of the dishes, so besides not having to leave the house(a major plus post-surgery or pregnancy or other personal medical emergent issue), I wouldn’t say this place beats out Eat Local, or other similar food health-conscious pre-made dinner shops. They did offer a very nice variety of more non-mainstream food, featuring organic and non-lactose and gluten-free options. Tried so far: Eggplant Croquettes — taste you could sneeze at Chicken sausage w/brown rice rotini — filling, unremarkably good. Pesto breakfast sandwich — pretty good! Seasonal vegetables — decent mix, a few too many peppers for my liking, but nothing special, taste-wise. Chicken Tarragon w/roasted vegetables — bleh. I don’t think I’ve ever grown tarragon, but it’s not tasty. The heating directions that come with these items were a little underwhelming. The most extreme example so far was for the eggplant croquettes: «Enjoy chilled out of refrigerator or heat in micro beginning with 20 seconds. Serve with Cucumber Tsaziki. Enjoy by 03÷14÷11» «Beginning with?» Ummm… I understand some people’s microwaves are much more powerful than my wimpy one, but I tried different methods for 2 of the 3 croquettes just to test it, and 60 – 90 minutes did not improve the mushy vagueness of the croquette. Only after I baked(just warmed it) for about 8 minutes, then toasted(nearly burned it) 5 minutes, and finally tried broiling for a few minutes(finally crispy!) did I make any change to the croquette that might make it tastier and crisply warmed up. I feel bad for any people who ate these after 20 seconds in the microwave. Bland.
