Very loud. Love the beer selection, and the food is good. Good for kids, but you’ll be hard-pressed to have a conversation with anyone. Really a tick below four stars for me.

I absolutely loved this place when they first opened, but after a few months the service went way down. The worst experience was a few months ago when I ordered the fried calamari. There was a piece of literal trash in the marinara sauce and when I confronted the management they told me that it wasn’t a big deal and refused to remove the calamari from the bill. The food is ok, but overpriced. Will not be returning.

This place never disappoints. I am here about once a week and every waitress/waiter is always smiling and fast.

Expansive beer menu, but it’s very pricy here(you’re paying for the MarketStreet experience). A Coors Light draft should in no way be $ 5 – 6. Large food menu with enough offerings to please everyone though.

Not sure they even need a review since everybody seems to love and recommend this place. I’ve been here at least five times while I’m away on business. I’ve tried the burgers, soup(French onion) and the Mac and cheese, which is amazing! The beer selection is great but their speciality cocktails are excellent as well. Last time I had the strawberry fields and it was the best drink I’ve had in a long time. The only problem is that it can get really, really crowded. At 7:00 on a Thursday night I wasn’t even able to find one single stool at the bar and ended up leaving to find a place where I could sit down and enjoy my meal.

Have tried and tried– hoping for improved food/experience— never happens. Will never eat here again. Good is awful

Good food but I wish the lighting was better. I always feel like I’m eating in the dark. I like ambiance but it’s as dark as a night club in there. The waiters also have major hearing problems and try to rush their clients even when it’s slow.

How can you not love a place that has 144 types of draft beer? Based on our servers recommendation I got the Alagash White. Definitely a great beer. I couldn’t believe how knowledgable our server was about draft beer. I don’t think she was even old enough to drink but she knew way more about beer than I do. My wife had a salad; I had a burger and fries. Both were terrific. Be aware that the place has a long wait on Saturday night and it gets very noisy. Although for me the noise made the place feel like a club. I will definitely go back!

Food was very good and service was good also, especially considering they let us two women sit for 3 hours while we caught up on life. The one criticism I have is that the kale Caesar salad(for which they charge a premium over the regular Caesar) had very little kale in it and consisted mostly of romaine. I was told they use a mix of greens, of which kale is one, but seriously not enough kale to call it a kale salad. I did request a credit associated with the premium paid, which they gave me without question. I will return but I won’t order the kale Caesar again.

Ever get in that mood where you’re like, «damn, I want beer.» And your brain is like, «cool, bro. Blue Moon?» and you’re all like, «nah.» And your brain is like, «ummm, Bud Latte?» and you’re like, «are you high?» and your brain says, «OK, let’s go out on a limb here, how ’bout a Natty Ice?» and at that moment you realize your culture-o-meter on the beer scale is dangerously into the CAUTION zone? Totally. Never fear, Yard House’s here. Excellent, interesting, diverse beer selection for literally probably 30 feet worth of taps. The menu clearly explains what each beer is like, the alcohol content, and some notable flavors. And now the main attraction — they come in a half-yard glass that makes your run of the mill pint glass look like a shot glass for Tyrion Lannister. Cocktails are good IF you get the right bartender… there’s one or two who aim to please if you give them creative license. Standard issue cocktails are fine, but nothing to celebrate. The food is primarily appropriate for appetizers, even though there are tons of dining tables. Onion ring tower, sweet potato fries, nachos… basically the entire appetizer list is BOOMIN’ [DJ Khaled’s Snapchat sidekick voice]. Butttt. a great appetizer is kind of de rigueur for a good watering hole, and this one isn’t especially close to home, and I’m not a huge beer drinker, so until last weekend I probably would have given it somewhere in the 3 or 3.5 range. However, just when I think you couldn’t get any dumber… YOUGOANDTOTALLYREDEEMYOURSELF!(name that movie). Seriously — came for my first sit-down dinner and it was phenom. I got the barbecue chicken salad and made quite a list of adjustments, which the waitress took without batting an eyelash. The salad was outstanding! I was pleasantly surprised — very fresh, huge portion(go with the small size unless you are famished), great chicken, onion strings, avocado, corn, peppers, cheese. I was full long before I finished, but I wanted to keep eating because the flavor was so good, and that’s saying alot. Service here has always been good for me, whether at a table or the bar. Prices are appropriate. Atmosphere is nice: a little on the louder and darker sides — dimly lit, big industrial space, but it’s clean and modern. All in all? If you don’t have a long drive home, this is a nice break from your regular old spot, whether you’re coming for drinks, apps, dinner, or all of the above.

We enjoy the beer selection and usually the food. We took my sister in law and her grown son the other night. As usual It was packed. We founds the food a bit salty. The music was loud which I don’t remember from other visits. The restaurant is normally loud but this time we could not hold a conversation in our booth. Our waitress was not good and brought our appetizers then then brought the dinners a few minutes later. Overall a poor experience. Three stars because of pass experiences.

I’d say 90% of the reason I go to the Yard House is the beer.(shocking right!?) I mean, they had a TON of beer on tap and a HUGE beer menu. Most of my time spent is looking at the beer menu and trying to figure out what I want. The food is ‘ok’. It’s a chain and has a pretty big selection, spanning all different types of food. Although, that’s what usually calls concern to me. I’d prefer a restaurant have a smaller well-made menu, not a menu with 1000 items that are all decent. Literally, the Yard House menu has burgers, salad, sandwiches(makes sense) but then they also have quesadillas, tacos, and sushi. It’s tough to make amazing American, Mexican, and Japanese food all from the same kitchen. Again, the food isn’t bad — it’s just not the reason you’ll come back. If you love beer, especially trying different beers(using an app like Untappd) you’ll love the huge selection and I’d recommend coming for that reason.

Horrible service. I was told they would not serve me another drink but has only had one. It made no sense at all. My friend also got thrown out for asking for water because he has been drinking and even the police officer thought the management was being ridiculous. I’ll never go there again

My new app place is the yardhouse. It gets 5 stars because it was happy hour and it was worth it. If it wasn’t happy hour it would get only 4 stars because of the price. My wife and I got buffalo wings, chicken wrap, calamari and the vampire taco. The wings were just the right spice, the calamari was great, the vampire taco was absolutely delicious and the vest dish of all was the lettuce wraps. I will definitely be coming back for more. The drinks get 4 stars because I have had a little better.

First time here for me and my friend but we’ve heard good things. Arrived on a Friday afternoon around 2 pm and we were seated immediately and greeted by our waitress who was very friendly and helpful. After being presented with our menu’s, she mentioned specials on appetizers during happy hour but that didn’t start until 3 pm :-(…oh well, next time we’ll do some shopping and then come eat! We decided to start with the brussel sprouts and ripped potatoes(where the potatoes are ripped vs. cut) and one of each of the korean short rib taco and grilled swordfish taco. The brussel sprouts arrived first and were hot, crispy and delicious. The potatoes were chunky and very crisp with a creamy(possibly horseradish type) tasty dressing underneath. Our tacos arrived about 5 minutes after the brussel sprouts. We split the short rib taco first and it was tender with a sweet sauce and very tasty. Then we tackled the swordfish which was also very good but after having the short rib taco first, the swordfish tasted a bit bland. My friend wanted to try the pig candy and beef jerky but our waitress informed us that they were out so we decided on the shrimp jambalaya with brown rice, the kale caesar salad and the sweet potato fries. The fries came first with a very yummy maple bacon dipping sauce, followed by the kale caesar salad. We usually order the salad with dressing on the side but forgot to request that and was happy that the salad was not drowned in dressing. My friend was disappointed that the salad contained much more romaine lettuce than kale. The shrimp jambalaya was served with one blackend shrimp on top, chicken-andouille sausage, peppers, crawfish in a cajun cream sauce. The sauce was much heavier than other jambalaya I’ve ever had. It was good but we’ve had better jambalaya. It’s described as spicy and neither of us thought it was really spicy. Our tab including tip, around $ 55. We were pleased with our first experience and would both definitely consider returning to try other offerings.

I used to LOVE yard house, especially being a vegetarian, they have a lot of options and could make any of their burgers vegetarian. But thy got rid of that option! It was my favorite thing here. Needless to say, I always get good service. And the atmosphere is nice. Sometimes the wait can be really long but that’s really only on weekends, so it’s expected, especially in a busy plaza like Marketstreet. Still really sad about the veggie burger option being gone though):

Can I just move in? The Rib Eye Steak. I would like to propose marriage this meal. It’s just perfect. and there is corn in the potatoes, remember when you were 8 and mixed the corn in your mash? THEYDOTHAT. There is a vegetable on the side, I don’t remember it, something green. And then there is the beer, I don’t need to review this. The Yard House is like a beer church if you worshiped the God of Hops. I’ve had the jambalaya, fantastic! The lobster shrimp garlic pasta dish was ew for me. I thought it was Italian-ish but it’s Asian-ish. Not what I was expecting. Angel Hair Pasta was really good, simple and light. Oh and the meat bacon app that comes in the mason jar, get it.

First of all, the Lynnfield Marketplace is such a great build between the North Shore Mall, Square One Mall and everything around Boston. Lots of great shopping and delicious places to eat! I’ve been a Yard House fan since I first discovered it in San Diego. Their food is consistently good and it brings me back home with that California«new american» flare. My all time favorite burger is the truffle beef patty burger(see pic) I usually get it with truffle fries(definitely NOT a truffle overload) and a side of garlic mayo which never disappoints. Also, their mac+ cheese is extremely delicious and flavorful. If you’re planning on heading in on the weekend or Friday Night, expect a wait(just go to the bar and enjoy one of their amazing cocktails OR beer!) This past visit we were able to sit outside and it was beautiful. The prices are not bad and the food is delicious… just keep in mind you gotta find a parking spot to enjoy delicious food :)

I had very high expectations for the Yard House. I had heard good things about this restaurant’s food and beer selection. My expectations were further heightened because of the 2 hour wait on a Saturday night when they do not take reservations. However, overall I was a bit disappointed. I love the look of this restaurant. The atmosphere is modern, casual, fun and great place for a date. I like the overall interior design and setup with a huge bar gracing the middle of the restaurant. As the other reviews state, this place is loud, not just a bit loud– loud enough that you have to yell across the table to hear your date– often yelling back«what?». On to the important stuff– food and beer: The beer and alcohol list is better than most and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menus– including their beers. They are ready to give recommendations based upon what you generally prefer. The dinner menu consists of burgers, tacos, salads, sandwiches– regular pub fare. Burgers come with a choice of fries– plain, sweet potato or truffle garlic. The truffle garlic was very delicious and I would recommend this option. They were so good I ate the entire plate of fries without any Ketchup– they were THAT good. I had a lamb burger– again, it was tasty– but just decent. Nothing extra special about it. Again, this place is decent but not worth 2 hr wait for a burger, fries and beer.(Can you at least take reservations if you know there always known to be a wait?) If I was in the area I would stop in, but I would not go out of my way to go back.

Great food. Great service. I’ve been here a few times actually since it’s more convenient than going to the Dedham location or Fenway. So many beers to choose from here and the food is pretty good as well. I usually come here with my friends and order the Peppercrust Gorgonzola Burger with Truffle Fries– soooo good! Drinks-I usually start off with either the Traditional or Belgium sampler– can’t go wrong with either one(if you have the same preference as I do). Oh and get the Delirium Tremens-it’s poured in its cool cup and gets you a little loopy. Sometimes I ask the bar to make me drinks that aren’t on the menu and they graciously make it for me and make it good too(Black and Blue, Black Velvet, etc) I know the wait time is horrible and what-not, but it must say something about the food and the service(there would be shorter wait times if the food and service was horrible, makes sense right?). So yeah the wait times is not a problem at all. I’m sure there are other foods on the menu that I haven’t tried yet that can potentially be my next go-to, so next time I visit, maybe I’ll try something else and update my review. Oh and the booth seats are pretty comfy.
