Paul Foukas Plumbing & Heating

What can I say Paul Foukas was awesome! Found him on Unilocal and I couldn’t be happier. We needed a gas dryer disconnected. Paul was very professional, friendly and most of all thorough with his work. I highly recommend him. We recommended Paul to our neighbor and they ended up using him. Like us they were of course happy and pleased with his service.
I will of course continue to refer him to our friends and family. If we ever need a plumber in the future he will certainly be the first person on our list.

Although he couldn’t help me in my emergency boiler fail the other night, he was kind, helpful, informative, compassionate, and fast getting to my home afterhours and didn’t charge me. He is an amazing person and tried to help just because I had a newborn and was a little frantic. I would hire him as a plumber in the future. Awesome person.

I called Paul and he answered immediately. I just purchased a new washer and a gas dryer. In the state of Massachusetts, you need a licensed plumber to install the dryer. I was in dire need of clean underroos! Paul asked me for my contact info, as he was driving. Within a half hour, his partner, Lee called me and said he would be over within the hour to do the job.
Lee was very personable and professional. He got the job done. Same day! No waiting!
Paul stopped by and gave the once over and pointed out some other areas of opportunity and explained them well. I appreciated his candor and his honesty.
Lee does general contracting work and was kind enough to measure my front and rear doors for new ones. He told me to see what I liked and to call him before I purchase. I will definitely be doing so and will most certainly recommend Paul and Lee to anyone!

Woke up on the morning of New Year’s Eve and had no hot water. Dreading the thought of starting the new year without a shower, I jumped on Unilocal and started dialing. Struck out twice (1^st no answer, 2^nd not in service area), but won the lottery on the 3^rd try. Paul answered and told me he was tied up until noon, but would come by then. Paul and Lee showed up promptly at noon, were very pleasant, complimented and petted our cat, and managed to get the water heater started back up within minutes. I couldn’t ask for more and I would call them back in a heartbeat!

Like me, you’re probably on Unilocal looking for a plumber. I’m not reviewing Paul’s work, just his approach to new customers. I reached out and spoke with Paul regarding significant water damage in my condo. I was pretty excited that I found someone competent sounding who was going to help with this urgent need. But no callback for days from Paul. When I reached out, he said he hadn’t bothered calling back as there wasn’t «enough money for him in the job» and getting to my part of town was «a hassle.» Here’s to new business!

If you want an honest guy, who does a great job and «doesn’t» try to screw you — then you want Paul Foukas. Nutshell: my sink piping that ran from the kitchen down into the basement was replaced and they did a great job. I’ve read many plumbing horror stories before going with my gut and hiring Paul and I certainly made the right choice. Afordable as well. Paul is nothing like the «horror story» plumbers. Hire these guys! You will be happy that you did!
