Mark A King

Brought my car here because it was local to where I broke down. I found receipt for part they got for my car from auto store that they didn’t remove from my car. They paid 60.00 dollars for the sensor and charged me 120.00 for it. And 2 hours labor for maybe a 45 minute job. But when your in a bind your screwed and they knew it and took advantage of it. Wish i had known when i was paying bill. I understand making a profit but not 100 percent. Just shows how this place works. Watch out for places with all 5 star reviews something usually is up.

I was referred to Mark King by my husband Joe many years ago. I listened & I’m so glad I did. Mark has won my 5 star vote on many levels. He’s come to my rescue more times than I can count over the years. His workmanship is exceptional. He always explains the problem & repairs needed, answers my questions, tells me how how long it will take, & what it will cost. He believes in contributing to the local community too — there are plaques all over his office with kids he supports in their uniforms. He’s personable, courteous, and runs a great shop. My mother-​in-​law, Mary, needed repairs to her car, and Mark was right there for her too. So, thanks Mark from all of us! Hope our cars don’t need you but if they do, it is always good to see you.

Meineke told me I needed over $ 600 in preventative maintenance for the front end. No matter what, I just couldn’t seem to raise more than $ 400. So, I went down to Mark A. King because he has a reputation for doing good works in the Greater Lynn Community. I was shocked to find out that my car only needed $ 225 in repairs. He could have charged me $ 400, and I wouldn’t have known the difference. But instead, he really proved himself for honesty and integrity. Mark A. King is now the only place I trust to take my car to.

I’ve brought my car here a few times and have always been very happy with the service.
Recently, I brought my car in after having the dealer tell me I needed a ton of work done that amounted to several hundred dollars in repairs. The guys at King, did a full check of my car, were upfront about what needed to be done, what could wait, and what the dealer outright lied about. They ended up saving me a ton of money.
This is a shop I’d feel comfortable going back to and trust that they will do quality work, not rip me off, and won’t do unneeded repairs.

King’s is an auto-​repair shop in West Lynn. They do great work and are not terribly expensive.
I just had a tuneup there and asked them to check my brakes too. The tune-​up was spot on and the brakes were in great shape so there was no charge for that.
As I mentioned, not the cheapest repair shop but one you can count on to tell it to you straight. That’s worth a few bucks in my opinion.
