Hour Glass Cleaners & Tailors

This is the place I go for all of my dry cleaning, even though it is a little out of my way, and there are other, closer cleaners to me.
I started going to this place several ago because it was near my school, and my grandfather trusted them with his cleaning. I remember the first pair of pants I brought to them, where they were rather strained from constant wearing as part of a school uniform. They were able to return them to like new condition!
I have also had several other items here cleaned, all of which were returned clean, undamaged, and not over starched.
I also once had a very dirty leatherjacket handed down to me cleaned here (or offsite by a partner) While leather cleaning did cost $ 50, the jacket was, like the pants, returned to excellent condition.
I have used the tailoring service here a few times as well. Once I had the waist on a pair of pants brought out 2 inches. The work was done so well, you’d think they came that way from the factory.
I also once had a zipper repaired on a jacket. Again, work was done well, and very quickly. This work was rather expensive for replacing only the part the moves up and down, but again done well. What might also be part was that it was done in front of me. I am sure had I left the jacket and picked it up later, with the zipper repaired, I would think the price I paid a steal.
