Staff is educated and they we’re all able to easily explain the process they have in place. They also sell anything from jewelry –technology. Cameras, play stations, tools. Plenty of parking and free lollipops if you need something tasty while u wait

Worst service ever. Wouldn’t trust them for anything. Associate was rude, arrogant and cocky. Tossed half my valuables back at me claiming they were junk. Went to Market Street Emporium and got $ 900.00 for what he offered me $ 50.00 for. Moral of story-​stay with your local private pawn shop. Empire Loans-​you are not Longs Jewelers. Stop fronting and start treating people and their family heirlooms like they have worth.

Went in to pawn some camera gear and they were very helpful and straightforward. I believe that the loan amount that they gave me were very fair, considering that they were electronics. You’re pawning after all and they can’t give you top dollar. You can pay your bill online, which is convenient, but they charge a 3% fee. If you’re new to pawning, like I was, they explain everything to you from the ticket to how to pay the interest and how you can redeem your items back. Would definitely go back, if necessary. I do like the location, handful of parking in front of the store, inside looked very new and clean. All the staff have been very professional.
Edit: 1÷26÷2015, I felt the need to update my previous 4-​star review to a 5-​star review because it didn’t feel appropriate to say that it was «as good as it gets» if I’d only had minimal experience with Empire Loan. Since my review, I’ve had to make several phone calls concerning my loan, and each phone experience has been very pleasant and friendly. I appreciate that. Sometimes, businesses can make you feel that you’re either bothering them or annoyed but Empire Loan — Lynn has been very courteous, both in person and through phone communications. I feel very confident that Empire Loan — Lynn deserves a 5-​star review. I hope they keep it up.
