Took some young teens here today and they had a great time. When I called for info, Mike gave me everything I needed and when we arrived they were fantastic. The Referee Rachel did a great job — gave me a helmet so I could come and watch and get a few pictures before I returned to a nice shady spot to wait. She took the kids on 4 different fields and the cost was really reasonable for an afternoon of fun.

Had a good time here on a group outing, they are friendly and have pretty nice courses. Gear can be a little better as some of us had gun issues, but they are nice about trying to get them traded out quickly and keep everyone playing. It rained all day but they would keep an eye on the weather and bring us back under a shelter if needed. I would go back again, maybe borrow some gear before you go if you can.

Stalker Paintball is an outdoor venue with multiple fields for either private or open play. Since I was out of town, I had to rent gear. Their fields were pretty basic and had a pretty diverse set of sizes. The rental gear was awful. The marker I had kept jamming and others had similar problems. It certainly wasn’t from foreign material getting in the gun but just bad equipment(even after I swapped mine out with another). The mask was similarly horrible as it had a number of scratches, worn out foam lining, and delaminating anti-fog layering. The referee assigned to our group was pretty nice but we couldn’t quite come up with a way to solve our problem with an odd number of players. I had a problem when the Stalker rep disregarded the max marker speed and allowed half of the players onto the field with markers significantly faster than others(around 320 ft/sec vs. 260 ft/sec). Since this is in a tourist destination, expect prices to be a little higher. I paid $ 50 for rental, 400 paintballs, air and an all-day pass. If in southern WI, check out Promised Land Paintball.
