Beautiful environment, has a great vibe and great food. Chef Sean Beanblossom will make you the best panini you’ve ever had. Frequent live music and great beer on tap.

Wow! What a fantastic place to enjoy a great meal, excellent coffee or a drink with friends. The walls are covered in local art and the atmosphere is vibrant and inspiring. The menu is diverse, fresh and unique… nothing in this place can you find anywhere else in Lynden. Having lived here for several years with nothing but mundane dining options, I was thrilled to see something like the Firehall Café open its doors (and on Sundays no less!) They have an assortment of grilled paninis, fresh salads (such as a mixed green salad with apples, roasted hazelnuts and goat cheese) soups, wraps and delicious appetizer plates that are perfect to share (such as their Salumi salami, fresh mozzarella & focaccia bread plate that comes olive oil/​balsamic for dipping). I’ve had several of their lunch items and have been very impressed with the quality and freshness of their offerings. They also have gluten free and vegetarian options as well as Kulshan beer on tap. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches are also fantastic if you’re looking for a little something new for breakfast. There is outdoor seating out front as well as on the back patio which has views of Mount Baker and the lovely garden below. This colorful café is a rare find and worth not only visiting but becoming a regular of. They have live piano music every Thursday night as well as acoustic sets by local musicians on the weekends. Stop by, you won’t regret it!
