This place is terrible. The bathrooms are dirty to the point of being a health hazard. We have been camping here since 2007 and yes it had flaws but the prices were good but they treat regulars like crap and think it’s ok to chase away reliable business. We are going to Lynden KOA next year, and give them my $ 400 to $ 600 per year for camping. The ladies in the office are the worst. Especially the lady on oxygen she is mean and rude.

Spotty wifi that goes down regularly and never gets much above 1mb, as well as generally run-down conditions make this an okay place for a night, but probably not much longer.

For short termers I would say it is worth the extra dollars to stay at the KOA in Lynden on Line Road where you are guaranteed healthy water, truly modern restroom buildings, working well maintained toilets, and sanitary conditions vs what you are exposed to at HVRV Park. Long termers beware… ratty, ghetto conditions at this RV campground including a tyrannical manager and her cohorts. If you want to stay or live in an RV community with no improvements, being yelled and cursed at for asking a simple honest question, and experience a perfect setting for a Stephen King novel this is the place for you. If these conditions I describe after having lived there for several consecutive months are not your ideal then you need to keep looking and interviewing other RV communities.

We stayed in this park 2 times for 2 weeks in Sep & Oct. Great place as the spots are pull-thru & this being my 1st time, this helped me. The staff is very friendly in helping you connect if you are not sure. They are also great in dealing with a neighbor who is not dog-pug friendly. Great walking around the park especially near the fish pond. The Rows A & B are great as they are grass spots, not all concrete. The park is truly well designed. Showers had great hot water when it was 40 deg outside. Such a relaxing time was spent here. NOTE: A lot of Canadian RVers come here every weekend, so this is something to consider … make a reservation! BAD — their signage. Hard to see until you are upon it & this is a problem. The cost for the washer dryer is higher than another park and they need more updated machines.
