Went here earlier this week. Food was good and inexpensive. Definitely had a local vibe! We will be back. Forewarning: make sure you have cash because they don’t take cards!

Trying to find a decent breakfast place in Lynchburg is, oddly enough, on the tough side. One of my local friends mentioned this place so I gave it a shot one weekend morning.
Koffee Kup is best described as an old school diner type establishment with tables and a counter that you can sit at. Tiny open kitchen, a small dining room and maybe about 15 seats at the counter all make for a cozy atmosphere.
The place gets busy — there can be a wait at the door but it generally moves pretty quick.
Decent selection of menu items and everyone working there is friendly but super busy.
Food comes out in pretty good time and the coffee is hot and good.
Prices are very affordable and you will leave with a full belly.
Definitely worth a shot if you shy away from the chain places and just want something a little more rustic.

Willie the long time cook is no longer there so we will see how it goes. He was the best.

If your looking for a local place with great food, good serivce at a reasonable price. You can’t beat the Koffee Kup!

We like this place and come often. Good, cheap quick breakfast. They only take cash, so no credit cards! Be prepared. They stay busy when they’re open, but tables open up fairly quickly. We only go for breakfast and order traditional stuff… eggs, bacon, biscuits and such. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s a great hole in the wall place!

Yummy! We wanted a traditional southern breakfast and we were not disappointed. Big portions, speedy service, classic old-​time décor and super cheap. If you want a traditional breakfast, come here.

This place is a little restaurant that you would drive by 10 times before noticing that it was even there but once you find out about it, you realize what you were missing. Classic breakfast place with great prices. I got my breakfast platter for 4.75 and it came with a pretty good amount of food. Place is always packed in the morning for breakfast and has a really cool old school feel to it. Family owned and the servers are very nice.

Koffee kup is definitely cheap. You can get enough food to keep you going for 6 hours with just 5 dollars.
Having said that, this place is just that. Serves good food but nothing soo good that would make me crave for their food.
Their sausage gravy was a little heavy for me. I could feel the flour taste down my throat. Bacon and eggs… Well, if you screw that then you wouldn’t even deserve a star.
This is a cute little place with a home décor feel. Seems like the place has been around for long and the locals love it.

This place is a local favorite. The food is good breakfast food with a variety of typical souther breakfast dishes. However, despight what others say, I really dont think its any better than say cracker barrel. The service is usually good. My complaint? Cash only. 21^st century guys. Square on an ipad is a simple solution. Charge a card fee.

Great little dive! I have only eaten breakfast here and I have always enjoyed it. The home fries are cubed and crispy the coffee is hot and plentiful, the omelets are good and the service is friendly. You can only pay with a check or cash. The best place in Lynchburg to get a good cheap breakfast that is very filling!

The rest of the reviews all say it well. Been eating there for three years and its the best and cheapest breakfast in town. Bring cash, sit at the counter, and start up a conversation. You’ll become a recognized regular before you know it and learn anything you ever wanted to know about Lynchburg.

For a great, simple, home-​town breakfast or lunch, Koffee Kup is my go to restaurant. Service is very friendly and the food is delish. The only downside is they close daily at 2PM.

Hands down the best breakfast place in town. Only downside is you better make sure you have cash to pay the bill. Staff was friendly. Food was outstanding.

I was born and raised in Lynchburg and I have been eating here off and on my whole life. This is classic home cooking at its best. Nothing fancy here… it’s all about the food and service. Generous portions, fair prices and a warm, down home vibe. Just remember they don’t take plastic, so bring cash.

One of the last great breakfast diners you can find. Growing up in Lynchburg and fishing on Timberlake with high school buddies, we always made stops here for our pre-​fishing trip meal. Just a classic example of Lynchburg hospitality.

One must understand good home cooking ad a great price. .
Like a classic Egg Salad Sandwich for $ 2.60, or a Grilled Cheese for about the same price.
This is classic country, with 1980 prices. They do not take credit cards so bring your cash, but not much —- one person can ear well here for under $ 6.00 and eat very well for under $ 10.

It is «rustic» to say the least but great food, great service, great price … if you want home cooking from Mom — this is the place to visit

If your looking for a great breakfast combined with the best small town feel… Koffee Kup if where you need to be! Family owned and run, it is such a friendly environment and the food is great. They have great service and are always happy to help you in any way. Their operating hours are from 6am — 2pm and they only take cash.

We eat at Koffee Kup at least once or twice a month. Such a great family owned business. Love the food and service. Looking for a great place to eat breakfast or lunch, try them out. You will not be sorry.
