Godsend Cleaning

If zero stars was an option, this cleaning company would get that from me. The people I bought a home from hired Godsend through their agent to clean their empty home in early January (4 or 5). They paid $ 200 for the service. When my agent, husband and myself arrived to do the walk through the next morning, we knew they had been there (my agent let them in so saw the pre conditions), but the job they did was awful. The easiest and most noticeable improvement would have been to vacuum…, and in real estate a house technically only has to be «broom cleaned». There was dust, debris, dead bugs everywhere! It took me over an hour just to vacuum and because Godsend didn’t do their job, I had to pay a days rent to the sellers to get in to the house a day earlier than settlement to clean before my belongings arrived. (The sellers charged me $ 200 to get in before settlement.) I took photos of what I got up with the vacuum… 3 canisters FULL! I will never recommend and will actually warn people to stay away. Not only did this company do a bad job, they overcharged for it.

We did extensive research before making a hiring decision and we are SO VERY LUCKY to have found Godsend Cleaning Service. My brother had an emergency hospitalization and my sister and I, who both live out of town, needed someone we could trust to come in and quickly «deep clean» my brother’s house on a holiday weekend before he got home from the hospital. Kim worked around my travel schedule and arranged to have Faith, one of her fabulous team members, work all day Saturday to get the house in shape. I’ve used many cleaners in the past and I have to say, this firm is the best I’ve ever worked with. My brother will be continuing our new relationship with Godsend on a regular basis going forward. When you find people who are fair, reliable and you can trust to come into your home, even when you aren’t physically there, you know you’ve found a great company.
