This was our first time going to Funquest and we had a nice time. It’s exactly what you would imagine when you picture a roller rink, nothing extravagant. We came for the Monday special which is $ 2 attractions. For all 3 of us to skate, the shoe rentals and my son to play on the playground, we spent about $ 15, which is a pretty great deal I think. They have the roller rink, playground, arcade, and laser tag. For another $ 2 per hour, you can get a «pusher» that helps children learn how to skate. It’s a great idea and definitely worth the few dollars.

You can tell these owners care about their business. They are always adding things & improving the location, most recently with new paint & décor, games, & replacing some of the older skates. Also, I bought skates here for Christmas, and they replaced them completely when the toe stop came off a few months later. We also participated in their Kids Skate Free program, which is a terrific way to introduce this activity to your kids. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer some healthier options on the snack bar menu, but I have to admit they have really good fries. ..

Went for first time last night very fun for family. With tons of stuff to do skating, arcade, big play area for kids an lazier tag looking forward to trying. An the pizza an food actually looks good. I see know why Show biz went under an chucky cheese is not in town.

I met my hubby at Funquest (it was Skateland USA back in 1996). Spent more time making out behind the wall and sharing gummy worms than skating then… Recently moved back to VA and now have the priviledge of introducing my love of roller skating to a whole new generation! Huge skate surface, fun lazer tag, playground for my younger son, arcade, and AWESOME junk food!!! I was not disappointed. It is a much more family friendly atmosphere on Saturday nights than what I remembered. I recommend! Prices reasonable too.

i’ve been skating at this rink for over a year. hands down the best rink within a 100 mile radius. Not sure about when the last review was written but the place is in very good shape. the rink was just refinished last spring.
The owner, Jim, is a genuine skate advocate– very nice and very helpful.
Have no idea about the arcade and lazer tag and all that stuff– I just go there to skate.
Top notch place to spend an afternoon on 8 wheels ;)

My son loved coming here when we lived nearby. On Monday nights, they run specials, so we always took advantage of them. They have skating, a playplace, and lazer tag. Lots of people have birthday parties here.
