AMF Lynchburg Lanes

Cost $ 85 for our family of 4 small children to bowl. Unbelievable. Called management later to ask if that could have been a mistake, and was told that it was correct, and that next time we should go to their website and sign up for email specials so we could get a better price.
Unfortunately, I can guarantee there will be no next time. Why can’t they just give you the «better price» when you’re there bowling — especially with children?!?
Horrible prices, and a management who obviously cares more about keeping those dollars than making things right and thus insuring future customers!

Bowling
So, we decided to do a little bowling here in the ‘burg and we met up another couple we know in the area and headed to Lynchburg Lanes.
The place is your typical bowling alley: Lanes, snack bar, game room for the youngins etc. but I thought it was done better than the typical bowling alleys you get in NY as the help was well, helpful.
Super friendly people working there, great waitress bringing your orders to the lanes and the place was in overall good condition including clean restrooms.
Prices were very good but I am not sure how they compare to other establishments of this type in the area.
The food /​drink ordering process was a bit slow and convoluted which is about the only downside to the place.
Overall a fun night out for the family or with friends.

Okay, you’re going to laugh. This is not a review about the bowling alley, this is a review about the food at the bowling alley. I’m staying at the hotel next door, and it’s late, and I just arrived from the airport, and I don’t feel like driving anywhere, so I think to myself, «why not to go over to the bowling alley and get something to eat?» So I did. They have the usuals: pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chicken wraps… and grilled cheese. I had a grilled cheese which was extremely good, an order of fries which were extremely good, & a small fountain drink which was of course extremely good. If the food is this good, imagine the bowling!

I have a renewed obsession for bowling and this place is feeding it. They have great deals every day and a wonderful turn out on the weekends. They play fun music and have crazy lights going at night. I love it! I’ve gone with just my boyfriend and also a group of friends. Beer! Beer! Beer! They have it by the cup or pitchers. They also have craft beers on tap from the local breweries. Great way to spend a night with friends! The food could be improved. I was not a fan of their wings, but overall it was a great experience.

This was my first time here and I really like this place! It’s clean, modern and the entire staff was very helpful and courteous. We bowled for three hours and had a fantastic time! I highly recommend AMF Lynchburg Lanes!
