I had my second hair cut today by Hali and it was perfect again. This place gives military discount and the over price is good. This is now my go to place. I recommend it.

I think the girl who cut my hair name was Audra. She cut my hair unevenly. I will not ever return here.

This location is finally under new management! I was a client for 8 yrs changed places b/c of the old mgr who was horrible! I drove by and seen new faces I stopped in and was greeted by 4 hellos with smiles. This new manager has a wonderful personality(very professional and experienced) she listens to your wants and not like that other manager who would just chop up your hair. I watched her as my color was brewing take two cuts and do a little girls hair style. She is quick with superb results. I will be back at this Supercuts as long as this set of staff stays and I will refer everyone I know. I recieved excellent service cut and color. Medina Ria Mahaila and Tiffany are all friendly and great stylist better than any high end shop I’ve ever been to.

I stopped in with calling ahead 5.30 pm Monday evening. Sure there were a few people in front waiting. No problem. The stylist was less than enthused to see me Saying there’s 3 people waiting. Maybe you should come back«. I asked are you the only one working? I was answered the other person is on break! I sat down and a few minutes later she stopped cutting current customer and came over to me asking for my name.fine.no I need full name, telephone and email. Why do you need that to cut my hair? If you don’t give it to me I can’t help you. Needless to say I’m writing this review from a hairdresser down the road. Bye bye Super cuts!

I used to enjoy going here for the simple factors of convenience to my house/town and very good and reasonable prices. I never have had an issue for the years I have been coming with the job done as well as the person who worked on me even if it was a different person everytime. Fast forward to the most recent Lynbrook location experience I endured: complete disappointment and failure of somewhat epic proportions. I go in for a simple(and my usual) cut and color(dark brown/black to just cover and even out what’s not matching). From the start I got a weird feeling by the way my new girl applied the dye. After leaving it on for what felt like was too long(just an inkling but also the fact that my hairline was starting to sting is an obvious fact), she combs it through and I can commend her attention to detail for being thorough to make it even. Well, unfortunately my fear was correct. As she starts to blow dry my hair i notice(wet or dry) my roots are a COMPLETELY different color. Not only a diff color but a lovely(but not desired) copper red color to the rest of my hair being a borderline black. I’m confused did I ask for a reversed ombré? I start to think I’m crazy and it must be the light or because I don’t have my glasses on. I ask the girl and she says«Nooooo, no way, it’s just the light». I being as naïve as I am say ok and don’t question again. I go home and proceed to go to every mirror and light in my house to still see the obvious root to end difference. I go into my work the next day and ask around and get mixed reviews. Some coworkers say no, some say it’s a definite difference. But I decide to listen to ones advice of how I should go back in and get what I paid for and they should fix it because it is not the same color. We make an appointment for me the following day and I feel better knowing it’ll be worked out. The next day comes and I arrive at the same location for my 12PM appointment to find out I don’t have one(even though I made one the day before). After scuffling to figure out what to do with me they tell me to wait for who my appointment is with. I wait, I wait, I wait…10 minutes go by and I am about to leave when she walks in and acknowledges me that she’ll be right out. So I wait, I wait, I wait… to see and hear her just converse and hang in the back with a coworker for another 10 minutes. Now I’m annoyed. Finally she sets me up and we start the process again. Within 10 – 15 minutes I get that stinging feeling I now am familiar with on my hairline. She doesn’t comb anything through because their is no need since the bottom is pretty much what I wanted. I get shampooed by I believe one of the owners and sat back down to get dried. She starts to run her fingers through the top of my hair so rough that she’s almost pulling it out. She then says(and here’s where Im most disappointed) «I don’t know what was wrong before but is it ok now?» It takes every part of me to not leap out of the chair. I say politely(even though I shouldn’t be since she clearly has no problem being completely rude) «it was just that my roots were a way different color than the rest and it was really obvious» I also continue to apologize, why I have no idea. She then says that it might be because there is red remnants in my hair. I dyed my hair red more than 5 years ago… So I doubt it’s all of sudden completely changing my current dye and coloring results. I go home and again check all my mirrors to see the same If not more red copper in my roots versus my dark brown. I now have heard from multiple people, both coworkers, friends and family, that the color gets more and more obvious and needs to be colored over correctly. To say Im disappointed is an understatement. I started out being LIVID to not only get my request completely wrong, but then to be treated and talked to like an inconvenience when I come in for it to be fixed. I now just get annoyed when I look and think back, or look at my hair. The only positive I can say about this whole experience is that I did learn one valuable lesson: don’t ever stinge on your hair. It’s a job that supposed to be expensive because then most likely it’ll actually be done correctly.

they take care of you, but lack of skills contributes significantly to poor end result. And also they need to sharpen their scissor because it kept pulling my hair

I have a primary salon I go to for my color, cut and whatever else I feel like beautifying.(OMG, I sound like an insurance carrier or something!) One Sunday, I was bored and tired of my unruly, long mane, and decided it would be a good idea, to give my self a haircut. BADIDEA. The ponytail cutting off trick doesn’t work ladies. My hair was beyond mid-back length, so I wrapped my pony in elastic, and cut it off. It is always after your hand hurts from the scissor cutting, you realize you have made a mistake but there is no turning back. Looking in the mirror, at the little hair that I salvaged, I hid it in a messy bun, and went on a desperate search of an open salon. Back in the day, I always used to get my haircuts at Supercuts. Personally, I never left the place unhappy. I was always satisfied with the cut and conversation. The place was clean and quick. Girls can get tired of their hair in a heartbeat, so a place that you can walk into on a Sunday at 3:00, can be a girls best friend. This particular moment of hair insanity of mine, I begged that the damage I did could be fixed. As I sat in the chair, I let my unruly hair go and said«Please fix this.» I was certain I’d walk out crying and looking like a boy. I imagined my fingers running through the hair that was now lying limp on my own bathroom floor. The stylist informed me my cut was f-ed up, but she told me «I will do my best.» Who knew, I’d get the best haircut of my life. I am not lying. After she was done, I was not devastated like I thought I would be. I figured I mangled my locks and would be sent to the haircut hall of shame. I went home, blew it out, and loved it. I wish I remember her name, but she helped me love the salon choppy cut, she created at a price less than $ 20. I will hug you one day for you saving my hair. Thank you.

It’s been awhile since I visited this location. I was in desperate need of a haircut and the convenience of not having to deal with a salon had great appeal on a Saturday morning. I called ahead and waited only about 10 minutes, as the customer ahead of me was just finishing up. I received great service and attentive work from Brittany, who gave me a nice haircut and beard trim. They’re now using a hot towel at the end of your service, which was a major added bonus. While it’s still not my first choice for a haircut, they definitely delivered this time and kudos to Brittany for her good work.

This place is good when you need a haircut in a pinch but don’t have much time or money. They’re especially great when you can get an online coupon. I’ve been there twice and in both instances I got lucky and got two young girls who knew what they were doing. The last time I was forward-thinking enough to take the girl’s name down so if I have to come here again in a pinch I can request her if she’s there. I still much prefer my regular lady in Franklin Square. Anything that can’t be easily remedied(e.g. a really bad dye job or chemical treatment) should be handled by someone personally recommended to you anyway.
