Panini’s Bar & Grill

Visited Panini’s for the second time yesterday. It reminds of another restaurant in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA called Primanti’s. They both serve cooked deli sandwiches on steroids w/​fries and slaw as toppings! I ordered the Italian overstuffed sandwich (Capicola, Ham & Salami). The sandwich tasted great overall. It was a bit on the salty side, but i demolished it nonetheless. Panini’s is a family friendly sports bar/​grill with a laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend it for an adult only outing or for the whole family!

Really like Panini’s! They are a busy sports bar in the Van Dyke Publix plaza. Prices are low, food is tasty! Great for a weeknight burger or wings. I am a little sad though, because I fell in love with their buffalo crunch wrap, and about 3 weeks ago I called in an order and they said they don’t do wraps anymore! I’ll still go back :)

Great place, amazing bartender named Bre, foods decent, drink prices are on point. There’s a million large TVs for watching any sport and a great outside area. Fantastic local spot.
They should do some brunch, we would come back for Bre and Brunch. The B’s

I like the atmosphere but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The 5.00 Monday night burger is the best on the menu.

Here’s the thing… if you’re looking for a good sports bar in Lutz to watch a game this is your place. Anywhere else in Tampa there are much better options so I’m basing my review on this alone. The beer selection on tap is really pretty good and some of the craft in bottles is good as well. Their service and comfortable setting is better than other bars in the immediate area. The food is ok but nothing special. Setting expectations up front but if you’re looking for a good sports bar in Lutz this would be the place.

I visited the DD’s on I don’t know four or five occasions and everything has been up to my expectations. On my last visit I got a burger and Fry’s. I have to say it was very disappointed.
The burger was lacking any flavor and had no moisture. The lack of moisture was not because of the high quality of beef but more event tasting beef. That really surprised me because I’ve had their workers here before and they were always great. Hey, maybe they were just having a bad day who doesn’t. The fries were limp and silky not even worth eating.
Nothing they were just having a bad evening or I don’t know what’s going on maybe there expectations are being lowered. Service was nothing to write home about but Kama I did get my food and eventually I got my bill. One further thing to know was for some reason the one I normally get tasted kind of funky. It had a strange muskie taste to it that was not what I was used to. Overall I’d have to say they were not having a good day or in my case it wasn’t a good day. Maybe next time things will be better.
What’s a girl to do? Well it was tried and true and I never had a problem before and this time, nothing seems to go my way.

Pretty good food and fun for family or just drinking alone. Lots of kids sometimes. Good beer selection. Quesadillas are awesome.

This bar was surprisingly much better than I expected. I was expecting a hole in the wall bar, but you walk in & it’s got a nice marble counter bar with friendly & welcoming staff, & their beers are reasonably priced.

The steak sandwich was slight on taste, not worth ordering again. The Ruben was okay. The pub chips were cold some stale & were rather tough. I’ve had much better Pub chips elsewhere. The restaurant was attractive, plenty of TVs. The server did a good job. Would be a nice bar to come to and watch a game and drink. However I’m not interested in coming back to eat.

Unfortunately a disappointment. I stopped in here because I noticed they had outside seating. That part was fine and they have place TVs on the patio for watching which is nice. My medium well steak was rare and the wine bitter. On the bright side the salad was good and the fried sweet potatoes very good. The server was nice, but busy or inattentive. I finally gave up on waiting for the ticket, walked through the restaurant until I found her and put the payment in her hand as I left.

New menu is good, but missing a couple of my old favorites… $ 3 happy hour includes yuengling which most places refuse to include as a domestic

What a shitty experience. I was totally ignored after being seated. Someone asked if I’d been helped, I said no, and she proceeded to seat some other new people and take their order. I left after that. I don’t know why I was treated so shabbily, but I don’t care what the food is like, I’m never going back.

This place has so much potential! We have been here 5 or 6 times to see local bands or meet up with friends for drinks. Service is always great (mostly polite younger adults as servers). Good beer selection and beer is always cold. Now the reason for 3 stars… The food… Not saying the food is bad, just I have found nothing great! this is a restaurant and in order for me to give above 3 stars you must have at least one really good dish. For the most part it is bland bar food. I really want this place to improve the food I love the concept of the bar other than the eats!

I can easily give this location 5 stars. I have visited on several occasions and always leave feeling very satisfied. Service is always attentive and friendly and the wings are the best in town. The wings are fresh, never frozen and it makes such a difference in the taste. I like the Red Zone sauce, just the right amount of vinegar and heat. Each night if the week they have different specials ie. Trivia night, kids eat free, 50 cent wings. The majority of the menu is very typical of a sports bar but everything I have had has been great. If you’re looking for decent prices, clean lively atmosphere don’t hesitate to try Panini’s.

I had bad experience with other restaurant and I was looking for nearby places broadcasting UFC. This is how I’ve found Panini’s. Very good drinks and great pizza!
I had only one issue. I wanted to reserve a table and even though they had quite a few empty tables I was told that reservations are not possible on Saturday. Overall it doesn’t matter. I had a good time so they deserve a five stars.

My coworkers and I have spent many nights after work here. Great food and good service. Even when we come as a large group they always accommodate us. The buffalo chicken pizza is amazing!!! They also have great wings. There is something cozy yet rustic about this place that’s quite charming. The outdoors patio would be great if people weren’t allowed to smoke there. They have a very cozy fireplace but it’s hard to enjoy with cigarette smoke all around. We will definitely continue to visit!

A great friend brought me here after speaking at length how there was never anything close to a sports bar and restaurant being in the neighborhood before this came along.
He invited a group of us here after golf nearby at TPC Tampa Bay and we were all very comfortable and really liked the place.
The beer selection alone is way above the norm and I really appreciated the formal Stella pouring station front and center behind the bar.
Instead of just having drinks with the rest of the group, I did want to sample the menu and found a lot of really good apps, wings, salads and sandwiches from which to choose.
While the Panini (Which I have had in Cleveland and know all about) is the signature item, I just did not want something that heavy on this visit.
Instead, I went with the Hot Italian on and it was fantastic. (Yes, insert you own joke here… the bartender did.) The pub chips were also very tasty and crispy as the included side.

Went here for a birthday party. It’s a little out of the way (aka middle of nowhere) but it’s not hard to find. The restaurant had a good amount of people for a Tuesday night.
The server was waiting for all of our party to arrive before placing orders so it was a little slow getting our food but we were enjoying the company so it wasn’t bad. I ordered the Mobster Pizza. It was a white sauce with mozzarella, capicola, pepperoni, salami, and banana peppers. Interesting toppings but lacking in flavor. I couldn’t taste the sauce. Overall: average bar food. There was a nice outdoor patio area with fire pit that I would be interested in coming back for but honestly it’s too far for me.

We dined here earlier in the week and were pleasantly surprised. Everything we had was very tasty. Service was outstanding. We had a group of 12, including 5 kids, so we sat on the patio.
We started with a few orders of the hot pretzels and potato skins. Both were great and seemed fresh.
We had a variety of sandwiches, wings, burgers, etc. everyone was happy. For the wings, order spicier than you normally would, if you really want them to be hot.
We also used the Unilocal $ 25 for $ 35 special, which helped us save $ 10.
Try panini’s. You won’t be disappointed.
