Best pizza ever! Everything here is very simple. Ordering is simple, paying is simple, eating is super simple. I have been eating marias pizza for over 15 years. Hands down the best pizza. Their other food is pretty decent too. Sundays and mondays are half ofd which is a steal!

Average food. Long delivery. Mistakes. Told them no olives in my salad. Asked for oil and vinegar for dressing. Both were incorrect. I’ll try somewhere else next time. Also, the most common sense mistake. No plastic ware.

Horrible! Their steak and cheese sub was disgusting, same goes for the fries and cold cuts sub use to be better years ago but has gone downhill! Use to love their pizza, no more after I saw the lady manager come out to the counter with pizza dough ball in her hand took my money put it in the register then continue to toss the dough and her apron looked like it had not been washed in a month! All greasy and crusty Yuck!

Horrible customer service. Bought 2 large cheese pizzas. One was slightly overcooked but we ate it anyway. The other was extremely overcooked. Called and spoke with Shawn(the owner) and he said all he could do was give me half off the next pizza. Bunch of Bull SH! T!!! If you over cook and make a crapy pizza YOU need to own up to it and replace it 100%! Don’t be a cheap a$$! Now you lost a customer who has been coming to this place since 1998. Shawn, if you want to make this right, you know what to do! Do the right thing. I’ll amend this review if Shawn does the right and ethical thing. If I could post a picture of this nastiness I would! Stay away from this place. I’m preaching to everyone I know… and I KNOW A LOTOFPEOPLE!

Another Baltimore County order-out institution, pizza is their wheel house although they offer salads, sandwiches and sodas. They have a dining area, but this joint is really about the pizza. If you dined here, you’d be treated to 70’s style hard seating with air-thin napkins and a view of busy York Road. But I digress. It’s not about that. It’s about the pizza. I firmly believe, despite all the pizza cutting competition, that Maria’s has THEBESTPIZZA. It’s a thin crust mozzarella offering with a healthy sauce-to-ratio of 40⁄60(I’m Italian and use this ratio to measure good pizza balance). They toss fresh dough and they sauce is a sweet marinara. In terms of ordering, you can typically get your order within 15 minutes. On a busier day, like Sunday’s(half price pizzas), can take 20 – 25 minutes. To put it into perspective, there’s typically a line of 3 – 6 people on a Sunday night. Again, the parking lot is «meh», the sandwiches are good, and the dining area is «yuk.» But this is about the pizza. And the pizza is the best.

This is my absolute favorite pizza. Period. The crust is doughy but thin in the middle. Good amount of cheese. The sauce is amazing — good proportion to other ingredients and a touch sweet. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed and I’ve been coming here regularly since I was a kid. Throw in the half off pizzas on Sun/Mon = unbeatable. Recommend!

Ordered a large veggie pizza, delivery to a nearby hotel. Quoted 45 minutes. Delivered in 53 minutes. Driver was kinda sketchy. As others have noted, Maria’s sauce is very sweet. I didn’t dislike it, but it is sweeter than u would expect. All the veggie toppings tasted fresh, and were in good quantity. I am not a fan of the cheese they use. It has an odd consistency, a slightly translucent color, and not much flavor at all. The crust was good, a doughy, hand-tossed East Coast variety. All things said, this is fine pizza, but at full price($ 24 plus tip) it’s no bargain. I wouldn’t steer clear of Maria’s, but I’ll probably try a different place next time I am in town.

Pizza sauce was way too sweet. Hard to screw up something as easy as sauce. Will probably not order from them again.

This is usually our go-to place for pizza and subs. Their pizza is great with a different sauce. However, we called in an order for delivery. We provided a credit card for payment. When the food arrived they had no record of the credit card transaction. When they called the manager claimed that I never paid. I understand mistakes happen but how they handled the situation was terrible. The manager was argumentative and never once apologized for losing the transaction. After we provided the information again, they said they would drive a receipt out, which never happened. Haven’t decided if I will go back or not, as this situation was total turnoff. I will be calling to speak with owner about their staff.

This place is a joke. Very very dirty and outdated. Very rude staff and owner. Makes a mistake and blames the customer and tells them to go somewhere else… I have been going there for over 10 years and now will never go back. I’m not sure how this place is still open.

Delicious pizza, salad and cheese sticks. We use them for work deliveries a lot. Sunday and Monday ½ price specials sweeten the deal.

Pizza sauce v e r y sweet. Does not go with the pizza. I have heard great things about this place, but was overall disappointed. Who wants sweet pizza sauce on their pie. I watched the pizza dough process. None. No rolling, throwing, or managing. Just on a pizza sheet, and done. Not going back, even though it was ½ off on Sunday and Monday. Sorry, Maria’s.

Of all the places I have been to, this place is the WORST. The food is ok but the staff is extremely rude and are total a-h0les. NOT worth going to. The greek owner is rude and so are his employees. They try to cheat by giving you other ppl’s pizza that is cold because the other customers didn’t pick it up, and when you refuse and tell them you want to wait for your pizza, they flip out. Other time, I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and they try to unload a half pepperoni and half cheese pizza. Also, the price is NOT as cheap as it appears. $ 8.47 for a large 1 topping, you can get a better quality large 1 topping elsewhere. I hope this Maria’s location goes out of business.

Love Maria’s pizza, but was denied 50% off with my VIP card during a snow fall because«it was not a typical day». Mind blowing lack of logic by the manager. Hopefully this lack of customer service is «not typical» moving forward.

(12/14/2012) Got a delivery for dinner, 2 mediums for $ 18.75(one with green peppers and bacon, one with green peppers and Canadian bacon), had a coupon. Took about 45 minutes for delivery, pizzas were pretty mediocre. Crust seemed like it might have been pre-fab(not necessarily patted out in the restaurant, lacked any kind of rolled crust or raised edge); cheese was a little translucent(low milk solids); sauce bland(sweet, lacked seasoning); toppings were fine, green peppers fresh, streaky bacon crispy, Canadian bacon quartered(in large pieces). One of the pizzas was more done than the other, lacked suitable Maillard on the crust, was rather pasty and a little«raw» tasting. Would probably skip this one for next time, plenty other local joints to check out.

Parking — Terrible. I drive a small vehicle, and it was tight, with no room to see other cars around you. Inside — The inside was clean, however, poorly lit. Staff — I called in my order. I was not given an estimated time, so I waited about 10 minutes and went to get my order. Once I was inside I was waiting on quickly. Food — I ordered the Regular Cold Cut, and an order of small fries. The fries were in the same bag as the sub waiting for me, however, the fries were cold, and they failed to follow instructions and I did not get mayo on the side. The sub was completely satisfactory though.

Finally– an excellent, solid localy-owned pizza joint!!! Great thin-crust style pizza– crust has that nice balance of crispy-chewy w/a nice yeasty flavor; sauce is sweet and tomoatey, with a hint of basil and orgegano(ask for double sauce on pizza– they tend to skimp on sauce if you don’t), with lots of goey, tasty mozerella. Toppings are all top-notch, but we usually just stick with pepperoni. Subs and sides are good– cole slaw is actually the best I’ve every had, anywhere, period. Big slices of hand-chopped cabbage covered with just enough rich-sweet-tangy mayo-based dressing; it’s amazing how good a usual throw-away type side can be when done right! Gyros are tasty – meat grilled crisply, nicely spiced, plenty of chopped tomato and raw onion, warm, soft buttery pita; my only complaint– they don’t use real tzatzki– it’s tasty, but it seems to be mayo-based– real yogurt sauce would be much, much better, though. Their fish sub– EXCELLENT! They use thick cut filets, nice and moist and meaty. MMMMM This is now are absolute go-to for pizza and subs. And ask for their specials– they have incredible specials, on certain days ½ off whole pizzas for carry out. And they deliver(but the delivery doesn’t get the ½ off).

This is a small, family run pizzeria. I really enjoy their pies, especially the $ 5 carryout special on Sundays and Mondays.(Don’t forget to bring cash!) This is nothing gourmet, just a basic delicious pizza. The complaints that I have include the parking and the wait. The parking area can’t even be described as a lot. It is definitely a struggle to pull in to and park. Also, I find that the wait is usually longer than anticipated. Last time I went, I called ahead and was told that my order would be finished in 15 minutes. I still waited another 20 minutes after I arrived to get my food. My pizza hadn’t even made it into the oven by the time I got there. Now, I am willing to overlook a crappy parking situation and a wait for a delicious $ 5 pizza, so I will continue to come here when I’m in the area. The positives outweigh the negatives for me, as far as Maria’s goes.

While looking for a place to grab a couple of pies on game night last week Maria’s was the lucky menu that landed face up on the table. The list was formed and the call was made… the rest is history. «The Good» — The pizza is very good. Try it and you will be happy. — MAC machine inside if you need some cash. — The typical Pizzeria fare that is decent. — Free Delivery was fast and the food was still hot once it arrived. «The Meh» — The chicken fingers were a little off. I know that they are frozen and they are a safe bet for ordering food when pizza is not your thing. But they were a little chewy and had a funky texture. Granted the platter came with a mound of cole slaw and fries. «The Bad» — The parking. Not only can you not safely turn into the lot from York… once in the lot you can not park without thinking that the car three spaces away is going to ding ya when they open their door.
