I unfortunately had to come here yesterday with my fiancé because he sliced open his foot while we were tubing the Shenandoah with some friends. We were dreading it because we both knew that«emergency» rooms were really annoying because you could be practically bleeding to death and they would keep you waiting for 4 hours before someone would see you. However, this place got right to it. They took his information and led him to a room. The nurse sat him down on a chair and took off the bandaids we had put on for the transport to the hospital. She took his bandaid off and had no gloves on. He was bleeding, it was a deep cut that definitely needed stitches. So if it weren’t for that ordeal, I’d definitely give this place 5 stars… it’s not even legal to not wear gloves when examining a patient. The EMT and doctor that took care of his foot were really nice and knowledgable. They stitched him up very quickly and they were really nice and gentle. I’d recommend coming here if you needed to, but I would just pay attention and make sure that they are taking the proper safety measures.
