Absolutly wonderful food! I was skeptical at first, but the service, food, and even the restaurant cleanliness were as good as it gets. The food was served hot and I could tell it was made with fresh ingredients. I had the New Zealand mussels but with red tomato sauce and it was AMAZING! I’m not kidding!!! I live in DC, and it’s better than any other place in the city. I definitely want to come back :)

Good prices, surprisingly good food. I had the shrimp Alfredo pasta and house salad, which was very good and we ordered two three topping pizzas for our kids. Service was fast and everything was delivered to our table at the same time, nice and hot.

Stopped here with the family impromptu. What a great choice. The meatball subs are huge(the smaller size), and very, very good. Pizzas came out piping hot and full of flavor. The amount of food you get for your money is well worth it. It took a little while to receive everything, but there were 9 of us! Really, I am so impressed with this small, affordable establishment. Oh, and the restroom was one of the cleanest I’ve ever been in!

Fantastic food, came with a large family and all were pleased, great stromboli, calzones, cheesesteak, and pizza. All cooked to perfection and wait staff was great. I highly recommend.

Great Service and Great Food! We found this place while visiting Luray Caverns. It was 6 of us we shared two large pizzas and garlic knots, it was plenty of food and delicious. We met Gennaro, a real Italian from Napoli, and the food showed the authenticity. Definitely stop by, I’m sure you’ll be satisfied.

Hotel recommended the Mexican place in town so we went there, we were less than impressed and left without ordering. Came here and were glad we did. Small mom and pop place with excellent pizza. The garlic knots were yummy and could have been a meal themselves. Prices were quite reasonable and service was attentive although not super fast. Don’t let the drive thru fool you… worth a stop.

Nice people! Great pizza! Had a pepperoni and sausage 14in. Yummy. Also had a fresh anti pasta salad. Something tells me the subs are probably good based on the meats in the antipasto. We’re just passing thru, but enjoyed it very much. Robust takeout available.

A great find in Luray! Great food, excellent customer service, a very inviting atmosphere. This place cares about the food they serve and seem to know their customers well. We ordered the Works pizza and the Garlic Knots(out of curiosity and glad we did). The pizza was fresh, homemade and piled with toppings. The garlic nuts are amazing! We had our post-hike meal here and it far exceeded our expectations and is superior to other higher prices establishments in the area. We plan to return before we leave. Highly recommended!

For the first time I was let down by Unilocal reviews. We were visiting from out of town and went there for dinner(limited choices in Luray) based on Gennaro’s having received 4 of 5 stars. When you walk in the dining room has tables and booths on the left and right sides, no hostess stand or even a please seat yourself sign. Along the back wall is a counter that makes you think this is a burger joint where you order your meal at the counter and then sit down. No signage at all. Fortunately a waitress nodded to us and told us to take a seat. Apparently the counter is for to go orders and where you pay your check. First negative. Next to us was a gentleman who asked if we were from«here». when we indicated no he suggested the best thing we could do is leave as he gave it a thumbs down. Next negative — sign on the wall lists 6 – 7 domestic beers. When we tried ordering they were out of 4 of the seven. OK — it had been busy. Beer we did get was not very cold. Unilocal reviewers raved about the garlic knots so we had to order them as an appetizer. 25 — 30 minutes they arrived. Good, but nothing to rave about. Two of us ordered soup — Italian Wedding and Minestrone. Arrived at the same time as our salads. Minestrone was almost devoid of vegetables. Broth was excellent, but it was like someone used a strainer to take out all the vegetables. My friend had the Italian Wedding Soup. Indicated it was ok — strangely they used elbow macaroni and not ditalini pasta. Now for the salad — if you can call it that. One layer of lettuce with a bit of tomato and onion. When I say one layer I mean the salad was one leaf thick. I ordered the veal parmigiana. When I can I get this as so hard to find. Not good. Veal was not tasty and did not appear to be properly breaded. Meat sauce was missing spices and was bland. Only redeeming thing was the spaghetti noodles were not overcooked. Wife had manicotti — large portion and she liked it. Friends got strombolis — they enjoyed them. Waitress tried hard — had good personality but there wasn’t much to work with. There is a sign in their window that says to compare them with the chain restaurants. I did — and the chains won.

This is a very hard review. I witnessed 10 people working hard and just screwing themselves into the ground. 4 waitresses 3 cooks 3 drivers and 15 tables pure pandemonium. Terrible food. Friendly confused service. Wings where over cooked and dry. Garlic knots where ok as well as the calzones. Chicken Marsala was an absolute joke. Not a drop of Marsala wine more like chicken gravy canned mushrooms. Just terrible. Checkout the picture. THe pizza and spaghetti sauce are one in the same and taste exactly like RAGU. Sorry guys and gals. Stick to pizza and subs. You have no business cook real Italian. The only way I can figure this place has survived is that most people are in town for one day. Save the pain and go to uncle bucks or(can’t believe I’m about to say this) Pizza Hut.

Like their sign said on the door, I challenged the to a chance to beat the chain restaurant and they did with flying colors. Garlic knots were crazy good and the Pizza was perfect. Good dough but not too heavy. It had a down home restaurant feel with great food and service. Don’t drive by it.

Friendly staff/service. They took time to explain what’s on the menu, thank you for that. They even stayed opened a little later(we didn’t know they did it for us), so we can come back because we had to drive my parents back to the hotel. Thank you for that. Reasonable prices. The pizza was yummy, only complaint my dad had was that the crust was a little burnt but my husband and I didn’t mind. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.

Quaint little Italian place in a small quaint town. I had the linguine with clams which was decent. It is decently priced but I think it is a little pricey for what you get. Overall, just a normal Italian restaurant, nothing special.

If you are in the area and want some delicious, cheap food, definitely stop by. The garlic knots are AMAZING. They are hot, fresh, chewy, and have real garlic chunks sprinkled on them. We ordered them as a side in addition to our separate dinners, which was a mistake because there are TWELVE garlic knots. The garlic knots could feed three people for dinner alone. We also got a stromboli and baked ziti, which tasted good, but I highly recommend the garlic knots. If I am the area ever again, I would definitely go back just for them.

What can you really say? Its a small town pizza place that’s so so. Stopped here after searching for food after seeing the caverns. Ordered a veggie pizza(definitely on the big side). Was an interesting combo of veggies but overall fine … Maybe a bit on the watery side. There aren’t many good options around and if you need something fast this is a decent place.

Our family of 9 came here for dinner while on vacation and it wasn’t as bad as everyone said it was. The atmosphere is very deceiving because it looks like a order up front and pick it up yourself kinda place but they function as a restaurant. Service is pretty slow like previously mentioned. But the staff is kind and quick to serve. One thing to note is that the portions are extremely generous. We made the mistake of ordering one dish per person and ended up taking most of it back. The pastas are very watered down and oily but not bad. The pizzas are a little thicker than ny thin crust but is just as crunchy. However the toppings on top were a bit overbaked. The calzone large is extremely big maybe 2 – 3 servings. It wasn’t hot enough to be a calzone. And had too much mozzarella inside. If they had less cheese and put the marinara in the calzone it would’ve been perfect. This place is pretty good for being in a small town.
