CATERINGREVIEW: Oh my holy god this food is disgusting. The food they are serving us is the lowest quality money can buy and most of it is so inedible that it is finding it’s way to the trash. It’s such a waste. Do not seek a bid from this company. They will be the lowest bid and you will regret it. Believe me.

My work spent several thousands of dollars for sandwiches from them, absolutely awful!

Donna and I have visited several times now and consistency and great customer service are the standard. Try the Thai Noodle Bowl off the Tapas Menu. Outstanding. Ask for Rick the bartender — nice atmosphere and superb pacing of every dining experience.

Meh. Just ok. Had the zucchini appetizer. Flavorless, lifeless. Chili rubbed pork chop was just a center cut pork chop w little flavor. My date has scallops which looked good but the sweet corn succotash was mealy and had a weird consistency. Dessert was ok. However the liquor prices are outrageous. $ 12 for a 9 oz oyster bay Sauvignon blanc? A bottle costs $ 12.

Went here for a quick lunch and ended up staying longer because we were enjoying it so much! Food was amazing and had wonderful flavors! I got the chicken nachos and I have a hard time finding a place that can hit them out of the park and they did! My boyfriend had the BLT and he kept saying that he has never been happier to order a BLT in his life. I got the house dressing to dip my nachos in and I am still drooling over it! To top of the wonderful food the bartender was fabulous! Never let our beers go empty and was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and how they cook things! So amazing!

Went expecting to have a nice lunch, however, didn’t get that far. We were seated in the lounge, initially being the only customers in this part of the establishment. 3 staff members were working in this section, however not one of them ever acknowledged our presence. 4 other tables came in after us. We got up and left after one of these tables received their drinks, then their friggin food right away, whilst we weren’t even acknowledged. The other 3 tables were quickly greeted and had their drink orders taken. Major pet peeve! –Acknowledge– all customers right away, or end up with a terrible Unilocal review from an unimportant a-hole like me! Went down the street to Rye & Thyme and were promptly tended to by awesome staff and had a delicious meal.

I’ve been here a few few times but this is my first review. All in all a decent place with nice atmosphere and good service. Regarding food, I had chili which was tasty and shepards pie which had a nice meaty flavor. My only issue was the mashed potatoes which were quite doctored up with chive, sour cream as well as onion and garlic salt or powder. I might not have the ingredients right but at any rate the end result was very salty with way too many chives. I will return but I will avoid the shepards pie solely based on the potato topping.

We recently gave Sean Patrick’s another try and we were pleasantly surprised! The menu did change a bit again but definitely for the better. My husband is a big fan of the cheeseburger club, thought there could be a little more burger. I tried one of the new salads, a chopped buffalo chicken salad, and it was delicious and the portion was huge I brought it home for lunch the next day and still couldn’t finish! My mother had the sirloin steak and cheese sandwich which she said was outstanding. Hopefully this menu will stick around!

I got a gift card here, so I went out of my way one night and gave it a shot. I sat in the lounge, which was charming and quiet and had some pretty good 60s music playing softly in the background. The ambiance was dim and mellow. There were a couple TVs and they were nice enough to put on hockey for me. They also have Keno, if that’s your thing. I could’ve done without the cases of spent brewskis sitting in front of me, though. Store them out of sight Sean Patrick’s. This isn’t Paddys Pub. The staff was youngish, friendly and a little overwhelmed. Everything took just a little longer than it should have, but they were nice and were sincere, so no big deal. I’m not a total jackass, after all. I ordered a lobster roll(The goofily named«Crabster») that was described in the menu as(I paraphrase): fresh crab and lobster lightly dressed with mayo with minced celery on a brioche roll. What I got was not fresh lobster and crab dressed heavily in cole slaw dressing with cole slaw in the damn sandwich(!) on a hot dog roll. So, you mention the minced celery in the menu, but not the cole slaw? Who puts cole slaw on a lobster roll? WHYWOULDYOUDOTHAT!?! And where’s my brioche roll? To make matters worse one of the staff came up while I was eating and said, «Oh wow, I’ve never seen anyone order a lobster roll here. Is it any good?» «Eh, no. No it’s not.» The best part of that gift card is knowing that I’ll never spend my own money at Sean Patrick’s. Don’t put it on the menu if you can’t pull it off every damn time.

this is known to be one of the best places in Lunenburg, so we have tried it out multiple times over the past couple years, always hoping that we just didn’t order the right thing the time before. I love chowder so was excited about the seafood chowder, but it tastes like it came out of a can. I have also tried the lobster Mac which was decent, but nothing compared to Bootlegger down the street and double the price. The margarita I tried was weak and used a cheap sour mix that was calling for heartburn. Overall, haven’t been impressed and will not be returning. Well stick to bootlegger where there are many of the same menu options, but just done better.

So my work for some reason gets catering from here for our special dinners compliments of the company. I’m not sure why or who decided this place is good but we get stuck with it each time. All of my coworkers agree its disgusting. The food quality is terrible, it’s luke warm and tastes old. I’ve given it many MANY chances due to my work getting it catered every 4 months. Each time I hope and pray the food will be good because I am hungry after working a long day, but each time it never fails to disappoint. I agree with the person who said if you like nursing home food you’ll love this place. I dont understand how it is still in business after all these bad reviews. Gordon Ramsey wouldnt even try to save this place. Theres no hope. Stay away.

We had Haddock Amore with almonds roasted red peppers in an amaretto butter sauce and Grilled Cedar Plank Salmon topped with a white wine dill cream sauce served over basmati rice. Both were excellent. Good food, service and prices!

Horrible customer service for gift card purchase. Gift card never received and no interest from the restaurant to make things right.

Never never never pay for their catering services!!! Serving utensils were not clean, bread was provided in a cardboard box, and some of the food was moldy! I am completely apalled at their lack of professionalism and care for clients. Please think twice before going with this cheaper option– when it comes to food, a slightly higher price is worth it for better quality.

I was a wedding this weekend catered by Sean Patricks. They provided Chicken Marsala which I guess would be fine(If the quality of the Marsala was a little better, The sauce was congealed and the chicken was rubbery) But the bride and groom actually ordered Piccata. I think for the amount of money people spend on getting wedding catered they should at least get the food they ordered. The groom hates mushrooms! Bad Form Sean Patricks.

Gotta admit — I’m perplexed by the reviews here. There’s such a wide gap between the good and bad reviews… the only knocks i could find was the service was a bit slow, and the décor while nice, clean, and seemingly recently done — did remind me of every typical american fare restaurant/steakhouse i’ve seen going back to the 80’s. We had lunch here on Sunday and the food was great. In fact — I was surprised by the quality. Considering the town/location — i was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. We tried a number of items — calamari app, pizza, sausage pasta in a fresh tomato sauce, Chicken picatta, turtle cheesecake. sauces tasted like fresh made and not«processed», pizza crust was clearly baked fresh. we enjoyed so much we decided to use them to cater a summer house party.

We’ve been to Sean Patrick’s several times and have picked this to be our«burger» place. They’ve got the best burger around. I’ve even taken my mother here for lunch because the french onion soup is close to the best I’ve ever had and my mom being a big fan of french onion soup, I had to bring her here. It’s tastefully decorated so that you’re not in a «joint» and so I felt good about taking my mom some place that’s decent for a lunch for just the two of us. We were able to sit and talk and had soup and salad with homemade bread for lunch. And my partner and I usually get the soup and then split the burger and they never turn their nose up about us splitting. Sean Patrick’s is a comfortable, decent food place. It’s always our stand-by list of places to eat when in the area.

I recently visited Sean Patrick’s while visiting my hometown. I grew up right down the street, used to work at the restaurant when it was Mickey’s, and have been a patron for probably 30 years, but this was only the second time I’ve visited in the past 10 years. The décor was nice and we were seated right away(we’d made reservations). Initially, our service was prompt. We placed drink orders and received our drinks shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, that’s where things started to break down in the service department. After placing our dinner orders, things started to slow down and we were being ignored by our server. As we waited for our meal, our waitress didn’t return to our table once. After our meal arrived, our waitress didn’t return again until we asked for the check at the end of our meal. Everyone in my party would’ve like beverage refills, but we never got the opportunity. It’s worth noting that the restaurant was not busy at all when we arrived and was moderately busy by the time we left, but there seemed to be an adequate number of staff on the floor for the volume of customers. Also, the meal took a long time coming out of the kitchen. However, I’m not sure if this was the server’s fault or the kitchen staff’s fault. The meal itself was very good. I had the combination platter(fried clam strips and scallops). The breading was light and everything was cooked perfectly. The whole point of the visit was to have the fried clam strips and they didn’t disappoint at all… aside from the amount of time we had to wait for the meal to arrive. Since I don’t visit often, I can’t say for certain if it was a bad night or if this was the norm. Others in my party felt that the service was routinely sub-par, so I’ll take their word for it. In summary: Good food, but consider getting takeout.
