Never do I complain but tonight I will. Ordered fajita nachos. Lots of cheese but hardly any meat or beans on them. Talked to manager but they didn’t want to do much about it. That’s ok because that will be my last trip there. We’ve eaten at the one in Orange and it was amazing. Sorry we can’t say that bout the Lumberton one

If you ever wonder where the staff who gets fired from restaurants go to work, its here! The food is bland and overpriced. Not impressed even after giving it a second chance with the coupon.

I wanted to take my granddaughter, home from college to a mexican restaurant– I had never been here before but we stopped in that night. Service was very poor and took 40 minutes to get our food, and I had to ask for it at that. The cheese enchiladas were the worst I have ever tasted and the red sauce was starting to cake over them it had sat so long and was only slightly warm. I also had to ask for drink refills. I will not go back!

Really great good at great prices! We go just about every month and have always had a great meal, I highly recommend it.

Been here twice. Both times wait staff brought out the wrong order, and not to mentioned it took over an hour to get the food. When I tried to talked the manager about the issue he was no where to be found. I literally had to walk into the kitchen area just to get him to address the issue. He did not apologize for the mistake nor cared to make it right. Let’s just say in the end left hungry and haven’t been back since.

Have a problem with your order? Find leftover food still baked to your plate? Have any issue at all? Don’t think management will offer any condolence. Management at this establishment is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. For a time, you couldn’t even request a bowl of lemons without being charged for it. Ridiculous! I will strongly rethink coming here in the near future. I’m willing to give places second and third chances, but this place just keeps doing things wrongly.
The food is average — not bad. But the management and its policies are the worst.

I’ve ate here once before and it was amazing and the staff was great. Walked in, theirs not many people eating here, we stood there for a few minutes and no one said a word to us. We turn around to walk out and someone asked how we were. I work in a resturaunt, its not that complicated to say someone will be with you in a moment, or you can sit anywhere. Instead one of the waitresses just rolled her eyes when we were standing there.

Sooo unorganized… been almost 40 min past the time my order was supposed to be ready!!! Love the food but omg soooooooooooooooooooooo unorganized!

Mexican isn’t my thing, but my wife loves it. Señor Toro is her favorite place for Mexican in Lumberton. Unlike others we’ve heard from we’ve never had slow or terrible service and the food is always as expected. Ask for the green sauce if you want something with a kick. Today we fed a family if six for $ 40 so it’s also economical.

Oh goodness. I wanted to like Señor Toro’s. I remember enjoying the Vidor location years ago, but this one was a let down.
Two stars: One for nice indoor décor, large seating area, comfy, clean booths. Second for: the salsa, as it wasn’t too spicy for me or for one of my 2 year old dining companions to eat with a fork.
The queso, I was warned, was gross, and it was. Yup.
I asked the server early on if the chicken enchiladas were white or dark meat, and after checking with someone else, he told me «light meat.» Okay. I said, I want that lunch special unless you find out in the kitchen it is not *white* meat, in which case, I’ll take the cheese enchiladas. After a long wait, I open my really sad looking enchiladas to find a very dark piece of chicken. He insists it’s because it’s been marinated and said the owner confirmed they do not «order» dark meat chicken… I know marinated chicken when I see it, and this was not it. So, I asked if he could bring me cheese enchiladas quickly and I’d just eat the beans and rice in the meantime. It took 20 more minutes for that to come out and he kept asking to take my plate, meaning I would have gotten my entire food order 20 minutes later.
Everyone else seemed to like their food, but I thought what I did have was absolutely TERRIBLE and felt worse than an El Paso Mexican TV dinner I used to eat as a kid.
The lunch specials are super cheap, like $ 5.99 each. With two of those, one kids’ beans & rice plate, two kids’ drinks, and two adult drinks, our total was like $ 27… maybe that was accurate but it felt a little high for what we got. Guh-​ross. No thanks. Nope.

If you’re reading this please do yourself a favor and not come here. My food took about an hour in a half to be ready and its weird because the restaurant wasn’t even busy! And to top it off, the order was completely wrong! So the restaurant made it again and it was out in two minutes and the food wasn’t even cooked all the way like WTF!!! There’s alot of Mexican restaurants in southeast Texas so dont waste your time or money here! Trust me on this, you’re not missing out on anything at this sorry of an excuse restaurant
