A true good place to eat, all around. They have awesome customer service, as I’m unsure how another reviewer said it was the worst. Also, they have amazing baked goods: donut holes, donuts, croissants, cakes, etc. Their breakfast and lunches are also amazing, fried chicken and broccoli salad can make you glutton yourself with delight. They take cash/​debit/​credit so no worries about your payment method. Also, they have two cashier lines (one for hot food and one for baked goods) so you don’t have to wait in line for everyone if you’re only wanting one specific item. They also have some of the best chicken salad you’ve ever tasted!!!

Ordered a birthday cake for my mother’s birthday. Cake was good and exactly as ordered. While there I also purchased some of their glazed croissants. They were excellent. Staff was friendly and seemed to appreciate the business. I plan to return for lunch when I am back in the area.

Best donut/​croissants around. The very very best hands down. Get the original croissants you will not be disappointed. I take these to work and everyone loves them.

I’m giving this place 1 star for service and 5 for the stuffed croissants. I am in Lumberton strictly for business and one of my coworkers actually bought a box of these for the staff. I was so smitten with the croissants I stopped to buy a box to suprise my husband on the way out of town. When I got to the bakery I thought it was such a cute place with a nice small town feel. The smell of the pastries baking was also wonderful. What I didn’t like was the apathetic, emotionless, and unfriendly staff. They talked to me like they were rushed and had better things to do than take care of customers. Mind you, it took me less than 2 minutes to make all my purchases and there was only 3 customers in the bakery!!! I keep telling myself that maybe they just had a bad day and to give them another try but I just can’t get the bitter taste of bad customer service outta my mouth… Athough the croissants are good I will not be back.

I came to Lumberton from Fayetteville with a friend of mine. She has been raving about this place for weeks. Upon entering I was greeted. I chose to order a dozen of the filled pastries. They were excellent. I will definitely be visiting this store again.

Mmm so I stopped by to pick up something for my coworkers and ordered two dozen croissants. I didn’t get to try one because they were gone within minutes! They must have been good.
Sadly I realized after left that they had given me only 11 in one box. I felt totally jipped:/ so make sure you count your pastries BEFORE leaving.

Wonderful, down home baked goods, all made on the premises. The prices will leave you trying to figure out whether you somehow traveled back in time. Specialty is glazed croissants: plain or filled with cream cheese, lemon, white icing, chocolate, Bavarian cream, apple, blueberry, strawberry or raspberry. Also offer donuts, cinnamon rolls, other familiar breakfast sweets, and dessert pies. A sit-​down option includes a more expansive menu (e.g., eggs) in a large seating area.
